3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There again, I do not live In Silver City and do not attend the main campus. But I am familiar with Silver City, it is a great town with plenty to do.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: I have seen all the facilities but I do not attend the main campus. From what I have seen I would describe it as average.

College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Sorry, I do not live on or attend the main campus. Silver City is a very quiet town, I don't believe they have that much of a problem with sexual assaults. I do know that quite some time ago (years) there was one incident.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I do not attend the main campus in Silver City, NM. The little I know comes from my couple of friends that do attend the main campus and live in campus housing. I have also personally seen the campus housing.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Again, I am not a student at the main campus. I can answer some of the above questions because I am familiar with the town of Silver City, NM. I also know because I do have a couple of friends that live in Silver City and attend there at the main campus.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There again, I have been an online student and have attended one of their satellite branches only. When I attended one of the satellite branches, the classes were pretty small with very few students. Some of the courses were top quality and some were not, same with the professors. The selection and variety of courses was not the greatest either!

College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Again, I do not attend the main branch and none of these services have been available to me at the satellite branches.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: There again, I am not attending the main campus, so I could not accurately answer this question.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Guys and girls at my school are just your average college students. Their looks, interests, dress, social life and relationships are just average.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Since it is a smaller university, I would say the diversity is average.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Small town, so there are not very many shopping options. There is a Kmart, Walmart, etc. and small shopping mall. There is a good selection of restaurants and the night life is ok.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: The registration process has been very easy since the beginning. The staff here are great and very efficient. I have never had any major problems and the minor problems have been very minor and all it takes is one phone call and everything has been taken care of immediately.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Since I am really so unsure about my major and since I have been about a 75% online student, I am not too sure on how to answer this question. The main reason I chose my current major is that I was being pressured to pick a major due to the amount of credit hours I had achieved. But I am still more or less undecided.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Since I have been an online student for the past three semesters and have also been at the satellite branches , I really can't respond to this question. The little I know about the athletics at Western is what I read on our school website and from a couple of friends who do attend the main college in Silver City, NM.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: My friends and I have been able to find the housing we need at a very good reasonable rent.

5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: I have generations of American Indian Chiricahua Apache family from the Silver City and Pinos Altos area. It was the hope land of Chief Victorio people.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: I like to eat veggies, gluten free sandwiches.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The University goes out of its way to make the best of every department since 1889.

5 College Junior

Facilities: All the help I receive as a student with learning disabilities.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I live off campus. It is not feasible for me to live on campus.

5 College Junior

Scholarships: The financial aid department makes it easy to get and apply for financial aid process.

5 College Junior

Greek Life: Greeks are welcome to the University, they are no different than any other group that comes from another country to attend the University.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel greatly safe on my campus. There is always a security guard that will assist an individual should they need to be walked to class or their car.

5 College Junior

Guys & Girls: There are many different races that attend the University. It is nice to see different cultures and learn about their countries, interests, dress, gain new friend relationships along being involved with social life.

4 College Junior

Athletics: The Mustangs are a big name, there is much support from the fans, a lot of school spirit, and a very good athletic facilities.
