4 College Freshman

Student Body: Overall, the student body appears to be good. There are definitely a wide variety of students who are different in gender, ethnicity, religion, political views, and a variety especially in age. There are students whom are still in high school and those who are retired and just want to go back. All in all, there is the likelihood of meeting every personality at WNC.

Academic Flexibility: My experience with working out my schedule has been amazing. The classes were easy to find and there were many options to most classes. It was easy to find classes in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night classes. There was always someone to talk to for assistance and my counselors helped me out a lot. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Online Courses: As a reviewer of online courses, the hardest part was navigating the site. For example, it was very hard to find out what was due ad when. Sometimes the work load got a little carried away but for the most part it was decent. In addition, peer-to-peer interaction was made difficult by trying to navigate the sight. Although there is a number to call for tech support, it would have been beneficial if there was also a direct physical source to be able to see for further help. Although I found it difficult, I became sort of used to the system and got little better, but overall I found out that online classes are probably not the best for me.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: WNC has a very competitive nursing program. you have to have the grades and the know how to get in.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are several courses offered but there are some in the class offered book that aren't always offered during the semester you need them to be, but other then that its good.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: So far my chosen major has taught me a lot and brought me into the path of a lot of people who have been worth meeting. My workload is consistent and manageable and the curriculum is well explained and budgeted.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I do not believe WNC has enough academics to choose from. However the registration process and the academics they have currently are very educational and simple to accomplish.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: My colleges financial aid process was quick and easy. I had staff that were very helpful and informative help me through the financial aid process. My only complaint would be the paper work issue. Paper work takes a very long time process which can lead to late financial aid at times.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall I give WNC 5 stars because of the friendly, informative staff and flexible classes. The campus is kept clean and well organized as well as the classrooms. I believe that my college stands out from other schools in the way of which the staff and students interact with one another. There is mutual respect and care when it comes to the staff and students of WNC.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: When taking my Math online math class I found it very hard to get the one on one time needed from the teacher. Online classes at WNC tends to be less descriptive and fun.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: I give the student body 4 stars. It is very diverse and well oriented with a lot of information to give to the students.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Everything is very accessible on the campus including the gym, library, and lab.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I do believe Western Nevada Colleges network reliability could be better, however there labs and printing rooms work well.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I know nothing about my schools post-grad services so I cannot really rate it.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The community support, the competitive sports, the high academic expectation, and the close proximity to my family.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The layout of the campus is very student friendly. Resources are close, the athletic fields have easy access, and the availability of the gym is convenient.
