Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Though most people don't choose WKU as their dream school, most students are still satisfied with their choice to attend. The University may have its problems with little things around campus (like parking), but as far as universities go, students know that overall they have it pretty good.

When asked whether they would do it all over again, many say that they would still choose Western. WKU really becomes home to many students over the course of their time spent in Bowling Green, and there are tons of opportunities to do anything they choose. The atmosphere—featuring lots of experiences to get involved with infused with a sense of belonging—is really what makes Western unique.

Computers: Computers are good, but the labs have a tendency to get full at times. Printing is top-notch. Wireless access is great.

Academics: The teachers are great, the job opportunities are good, the work is difficult, and it is easy to join. I love the program.

Majors: I love my program. the job opportunities are numerous, the teachers are great, and my classmates are fantastic. If only I had joined sooner...

Majors: Just had to join the major to get it. Not difficult, and they are looking for more members. Would recommend.

Scholarships: Did well enough when I was in high-school to get financial aid, but a rotating class schedule all but assured that my scholarship would expire before I graduate. I'm currently in the process of applying for more aid. Not sure how this will go, but it appears aid for returning students is slim.
