Local Atmosphere: I love this town. It is in a great location. Nashville is not very far away. There are a lot of great dining and shopping locations. There is a variety of housing options, from very fancy to very run down. Anybody can live here.

Local Atmosphere: Plenty of choices to go out to eat, see a movie, etc.

Local Atmosphere: The city my college is located in is definitely a college town. Bowling Green, KY is full of Southern hospitality, including student discounts at local stores and restaurants. Bowling Green has a little something for everyone, including baseball games in the summer, a train museum, the corvette museum, bars downtown for nightlife, and the most restaurants per captive in the country. We have a mall, two movie theaters, and two Wal-Marts. Not only is there recreational sports on campus, but several different parks located in town.

Local Atmosphere: In owingsville, ky there are plenty of wooded areas and trees which makes for nice scenery. It's a very small, quiet town. There is not much to do for fun here.

Local Atmosphere: I think what makes Bowling Green so great is that it is so diverse and there is always something to do. In and around Bowling Green there is Mammoth Cave National Park, Lost River Cave, National Corvette Museum, Beech Bend Theme Park, the International Festival, Coffee Shops, great restaurants, minor league baseball games, events at the performing arts center, parks with walking trails and pools, shopping, concerts, university athletic events, and so much more. There is always something to do in Bowling Green and the community is so supportie of the university. It's great to see so many members of the Bowling Green Community attending games and events on campus, and you'll always see someone wearing red!

Bowling Green provides a great local atmosphere for students to enjoy. It really is a college town. WKU is a huge part of the community, and the people love that. The whole town has lots of WKU pride, and many businesses cater to students, offering student discounts, etc.

Many people love the small-town feel in Bowling Green, and although Bowling Green is not a large city, it still provides many things to do if the campus attractions are not enough. There are two movie theaters, a mall, a skating rink, bowling, bars, a library, parks, and much more. For those that Bowling Green does not satisfy, Nashville is just an hour away and provides even more shopping, more clubs, and many more concerts to enjoy.
