Tuition & Financial Aid: This is my first time in college I feel like I need more help!!

Tuition & Financial Aid: Overall i have had a pretty good experience with getting my financial aid all set up. I was lucky enough to have my financial aid cover my tuition, so that was not a problem for me. I had a couple minor challenges in getting my financial aid to come through but it was not a big deal at all.
The only tip i would have for others getting their financial aid is to not procrastinate about it; get it done as soon as possible. Because like me, you could have it done months in advance, but when the time comes to start buying books, you may realize that there is still information that needs to be complete before you can get your financial aid.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have not yet received any financial aid so I can not say anything.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Western-Iowa-Tech CC a Small Stepping Stone – Western-Iowa-Tech is a small school that values its students. The Building is nice and the faculty members seems to always be prepared. However some of the teachers sometimes are not well informed about the latest technology and struggle to use our brand new homepage. The classes are easy, sometimes too easy.
This college is a great opportunity to start learning but because of it 4 semester limit it is not sufficient to earn a masters degree.
I personally had no problems with my financial aid in any of the semesters but many of my friends had issues and either received their financial aid too late or not at all. My tip would be to fill out the forms online and very early.
Because of the low tuition cost it is ideal for people who don't know yet what they are going to do with their life.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that for the program I am in, Band Instrument Repair, and with the instructor that is there, the tuition is completely worth the education I am learning. I say that because not only am I learning my trade, but I am learning how to get connected with those more experienced with this trade which will help me reach my goal of being the best band technician I can be. Plus, the school is willing to help me as a student with financial aid which definitely helped my end.
