Guys & Girls: Most people move in cliques and there are definitely more guys than girls

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The teams are good but there are so few students that attend the college it feels like a high school game

3 College Sophomore

Computers: They are good computers, but there are very few of them and they are always busy

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Most off campus dining are fast food places, or Mexican restaurants.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: Good parking, but maybe a little bit more for resident.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Everyone seems very friendly, and I'm going to a meeting tonight to possibly join.

Diversity: There are many organizations classes and activities that are provided for each student of all types to feel comfortable and accepted. The gender studies department provides many organizations that are for people of sexual orientation and who wish to discuss issues surround these topic. We have a black student union group for all African American students and also many classes that deal with African studies. Also on campus we have nondenominational church services as well as catholic mass. Wesleyan also provides classes that relate to any ethnic background or racial diversity.

Facilities: Our campus life team is very involved in the safety and happiness of the students. There are many fun activities, games and prize give aways that are to keep the students entertains and enjoy college life. There are also many opportunities to play in sports without having to join the main sports teams. Our intramural games are a fun way for students to stay active will playing their favorite sports. Greek life is exceptionally popular here at Wesleyan. These Greek life organizations creative a great way to meet people, make memories and create life- long friendships.

Drug Safety: Wv Wesleyan is a drug an alcohol free campus. The faculty do a great job in providing students with information about drug and alcohol abuse and awareness. There are also many activities that are free to students in order to prevent the use of drugs and to give the students a fun and safe activity to participate in. Like any college or university there will alway be drug and alcohol abuse but it definitely depends on you hang around with.

Off-Campus Dining: Mostly fast food, but there are student discounts.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer at Wesleyan College will go fast in the library, especially if it's exam time. It is very helpful, because there's always a librarian waiting and willing to help. There's a help desk that can help you with all of your own laptops problems, so you can print from your laptop to the library printer.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: You wont see drugs being sold on campus visibility but it is a known that it happens. It is college and some students never been away from their parents, with the different environment it is normal for them to get mix with the wrong crow.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Most of the campus is white, by we have many different nationalities as many students are recruited from other countries for sports. People are very accepting for the most part, although some groups do tens to Ed a bad reputation.

Campus Housing: The best place to live is the Camden apartments but the selection process is very competitive. Dorms with air conditioning and newer designs are much more expensive than the other dorms like Aggie or McCuskey. The best option is to get a double as a single, but those tend to go fast during room selection processes.

Nightlife: The main place people go is Club Bobcat. Most people borrow other IDs if they're underage and it's pretty easy for anyone to get into.

Off-Campus Dining: If you have a car or some form of transportation, there are several off-campus dining options. For fast food, there is McDonald's, Arby's, Burger King, Subway, Wendy's, and KFC. If you show your WVWC ID many places give discounts. There are several pizza places, and a Chinese restaurant on Main Street. The two best places to eat within walking distance for college students are CJ Maggie's and Allburghers, both on Main Street. There is also the 88 Lounge for more expensive food. Other options include Maroma's, a popular Mexican restaurant, and Huddle House, which is a 24-hour diner. Also, there is a 24-hour donut and coffee shop near Sheetz.
My favorite places are CJ Maggie's, which offers pretty much anything, and the Donut Shop. All the places are very convenient to get to, and if you want more variety, a short trip north to Clarksburg and Bridgeport gives many more options, including steakhouses, sushi, family Italian restaurants, diners, and hibachi.

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere of Wesleyan college is beautiful. There's always students and people walking outside, taking pictures, and sometimes just sitting on the grass. There's shops on main streets, and nice food places. It is a rural place and if you like the country feeling, then its the right place for you.

Campus Dining: So, the dinning hall is the main place to go for food, this is where we use our card mostly. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. The food is good, they have to follow a certain guideline of what they can cook and serve. It is always clean most of the time, but never dirty to the point you can eat. At times, the food may not be as good as it was in the beginning. This is the point where students might go to Catz Claws which is like a restaurant on the third floor of the dinning center. You can also use your card here, or credit card, or cash. If the food in the dinning hall is not what you want to eat, there are different other options.

Health & Safety: Wesleyan is a pretty safe place to be. Nice neighborhood community and there's cops and campus security, waiting on your call. It is the one of the only place i can actually walk alone in the dark, leave my dorm room unlock and still feel safe. The health clinic is open to all students and staff during the day, but at night if there's an emergency you do have to go to the hospital. And in the day, when you need to go to the hospital, there's a car that Wesleyan provides for you to take you to the hospital. It is a safe place, however there are your typical drug selling and everything that comes with living in a small town.

Guys & Girls: The girls and boys here, are pretty diverse. There is not one place that's everyone from. You will meet different people form all around the world, and you may or may not like them. Most relationships are like any other, there's interracial relationships a little bit but not as much. Mostly black guys dating white girls than, white guys dating black girls. There are your typical jocks, nerds, sorority girls, fraternity boys, and music students. It's pretty much like high school, without living home with your parents. There are frat parties, and the baseball will have parties and sometimes there's even dorm parties. There's club for 21 and older, lots food places to go. Being in WV you can pretty much drive anywhere if what looking for is not in Buckhannon. It is a small town, good to focus on school, but not like your big city schools, and that's what i like, you can do work with little to know distraction. Yet drive like 10-30-45 mins -1 hour and have a party and have fun on weekends.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: the campus is just strict enough. they make sure that there is a safe environment for both learning and having fun

4 College Freshman

Athletics: students love the sports. we love going to games and seeing the students play.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: there are a lot of antque shops that you can got to when you are bored. there are also alot food places to eat at

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The school has many different athletics that are on campus from football, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, baseball, softball, and even a swim team.

Transportation: Transportation is needed to live on campus. While Walmart and other stores are within walking distances during the summer when it is hot or during the winter when it is cold a car is a necessity and bumming off a friend can get old quick.
