Health & Safety: Safty Is No Big Issue – Safety and security on campus is generally all right. There are stations to call 911 located every so often around campus. They display a blue light to see in the dark. I rarely see any officials walking around monitoring students, but I do not feel worried when I am alone.

Athletics: Especially football scene! I know so many people who can die for Mountaineer football!

Off-Campus Housing: Student apartments everywhere. You have got a lot of option if you want to live off-campus. There are so many nice student complexes all over the campus!

Nightlife: I think we all know it.. WVU has an incredible nightlife. Hands down!

Academics: Excellent Professors – As an Industrial Engineering student, I can easily say that WVU professors are making everything more simple and understandable.
They go over things if you don't get it at the first time, and always are willing to help you on anything you need.
I am thankful for what WVU is giving me!
You won't regret.

Drug Safety: Drinking School but Anything You Want Is Here. Kegs and natty light everyone. Easy for a minor to drink. House parties EVERYWHERE. Frats throw parties a lot and we also have clubs and bars but its a little bit harder to drink there. You can find a s*** load of weed. People also do ecstasy shrooms pills acid and molly but their in the minority. Still relatively easy to get if you know the right people but that stuff isn't out in the open like weed and alcohol. Although a good portion of people drink and smoke weed i don't consider it a problem. Nobody will ever pressure you into doing anything you don't want to do.

Health & Safety: Pretty Safe – The safety and security on campus is pretty good. The university police keep High Street safe at night.

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Too Clubby – I feel like Morgantown needs more casual bars. It is stuffed with clubs where guys will creepily come up behind you and dance without warning.

Athletics: Football and Basketball – The majority of the student population pays the most attention to football and basketball, although soccer has become increasingly popular

Off-Campus Housing: What You'd Expect – If you want to pay a smaller price, find roommates. The closer you live to downtown campus, the higher your rent will be. I live closer to Evansdale campus in a 2 BR and pay $350/person while living downtown will run you in the $500 for a 2 BR. Also, places are Evansdale are generally nicer.

Academics: Physical Therapy is a career which provides a lifetime of benefits for both therapists and patients. At the WVU School of Medicine students are provided with highly educated staff members who have gone above and beyond in becoming experts in their field. The academic environment is challenging and competitive while still providing the benefits of a small program such as being able to network with surrounding facilities. Registration is completed via internet and once accepted the curriculum includes 9 semesters (including summers). Students complete the program with a Doctorate degree in 3 years and are encouraged to seek specializations upon graduating.

Scholarships: Pretty Easy – Its pretty easy to get a scholarship for various amounts of money, in state or out of state. The trouble is keeping it

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Its pretty ok, its all located on the same street which is pretty cool. But besides that its not anything special.

5 College Junior

Athletics: Football games are always a good time, it seems like the whole state turns out for a home game. Basketball games are also fun, and the best part is its all free.

Campus Strictness: A Lot of Student Get Underages. The cops try their best to enforce no drinking, but kids are always getting underages

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: There Could Be a Better Variety. The choices are alright, but there could be more choices and more options to choose from.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Its a Difficult but Rewarding Major. There are a lot of science courses I need to take, which will be challenging, but I know in the end I will end up with a great job/

3 College Junior

Majors: Many Opportunities – You constantly receive emails for available internships. The school instructs professors to do their best to push students towards applying for internships.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Extremely Friendly – Everyone is friendly at WVU. People are eager to meet others and you hardly ever hear catty conversations between people at parties. Partying and enjoying school life is a top priority to students but so is school work.

Off-Campus Housing: Lots to Choose from – The selection is somewhat endless. Prices are reasonable. Landlords can either be very accommodating or extremely difficult to deal with. If you shop around for the right place you'll have a great experience living off campus.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The freshman dorms are nice. They have many to choose from. The best are the ones closet to campus but are older. You get alot of exercise because its all hills.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Campus Activities – West Virginia has so much to offer in this area. They have things going on all the time, The best is the free EAT ALL Night in the Mountain Lair on Thrusday to Saturday. Helps keep your food budget in order and fun to meet and greet people.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: Students Are Proud – The students at WVU are very prideful of their school. They get into any sporting event and are always there to support anything.

Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Overall, students have made it pretty clear that they are really enjoying their time at WVU. Looking back through this book, it can be seen that WVU has garnered many high grades for subjects such as social scene, academics, and athletics. It is clear that there are many things the school excels in. The aforementioned are huge parts of campus life at WVU, and the students have said nothing but good things about them. While there were many high grades, there were a few grades that show the University could still improve in certain areas. It is clear that the campus dining services are not doing a great job pleasing the students, nor is the parking situation on campus. Considering these are two pretty important things on a college campus, the University should quickly take the right steps to move those two issues into a positive direction.

The attitude at WVU seems pretty split between academics and social events. While most students attend WVU with the expectation of a great education, there are a select few who come to WVU because of the potential party scene. Either way, WVU offers something for each side. With each incoming class comes the promise to improve upon faults and provide students with the best possible experience and education. The athletics program is on the rise and on the verge of gaining national prominence. The academic programs are showing promise as more WVU graduates are gaining recognition for their accomplishments. WVU is a student-oriented university, and should be considered by incoming freshmen who want to be treated to a great college education and experience.
