4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Haven't used the computer labs much, but wireless access is usually good.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: There are people from all over here at Western. I've met plenty and have heard great stories.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The school does a great job when it comes to class flexibility. You just have to go to your advisor first. It's their job to make your schedule a good one.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I love our rec center, it has TONS of things to do (basketball, tennis, soccer, running track, gym, yoga, rumba, etc.) I also really like the library. The way that it is set out is how every library should be.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The labs and computer access is great, the only problem is sometimes the connection goes out due to weather.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: I really enjoy it here at Western. The winters are awful but when you live in Michigan you can't really get upset if the roads are bad. As far as I know the ground's maintenance does a pretty good job on getting parking lots and sidewalks cleared for students. The auditorium is always putting on movies and shows, just keep your eye's open while you're on campus because they do advertise. If you are just now coming and are worried about living in the dorms, don't freak out all of the RA's are super nice and understanding. Don't be afraid to talk to them. So far all have my classes offer some sort of help, even the hard ones encourage a great tutor lab for help.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: Our program for undergraduates in Speech Pathology really prepares their students for when they get into grad school, and later helps them in the field.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: This school offer stars which is a special tutoring for students that need extra help. Its a great program I my self have used it.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: West shore community college does great.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: West shore community college encourage student to continue bettering themselves.

3 College Junior

Facilities: There is not enough for students to do in between classes. There should be more than a t.v., which has two or three channels. Students have the opportunity to bring in their gaming systems to hook up to the t.v. provided in the lounge, which is called "The Man Cave"

5 College Junior

Career Services: I was going to Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online and it was THE WORST school ever. I took my transcript to WSCC and there was no problem transferring to WSCC. All my credits were added.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I have had such a GREAT semester. I have severe learning, mental, and physical disabilities that sometimes slow me up and I have troubles finishing the assignment in the time allotted and have been given a few extensions. I have also been given the opportunity to re-take a testv and submit assignment that were not completed and were late. I really struggled with the essays though and had to get a tutor. My tutor is fully dedicated to my success and has given me more than enough help!

4 College Junior

Student Body: There is a wide rage of people from every ethnic group, religion, and race. A lot of the students hang out in the "cafe lobby". Most of the students don't judge others. They will talk and hang out with almost anyone from any background, religion, etc.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I really enjoy my intro to corrections class. This class was one of my favorites. WSCC has a few options in the corrections field. I think they should add more juvenile delinquent classes or offer an associates degree/ Certificate to be a juvenile corrections officer. I really like the way that my Eng Comp I Prof taught his class. The assignments he gave us taught me a lot about myself and how to succeed as a writer.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The faculty is really friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone that works for the school has the students success in mind. The professors are focused on the students and have been known to give extensions on assignments, tests, and turning in work. WSCC offers tutoring at no costs. The writing center, that is new this year, was a great resource brought into the school. The library staff has helped me so many times and the Librarian goes out of her way to help students. I just really enjoy the nice atmosphere of the school and the buildings. WSCC has so much to offer for a wide variety of students. The tuition at WSCC is very reasonable.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Ill tell you it beats paying 10,000$ to a large university.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Its a little hard sometimes but the staff is always willing to help out with anything in their reach

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: they offer a lot of career options at WSCC. you'll just need to find one that interests you and follow up on how to achieve that career!

5 College Junior

Student Body: I have a group of great friends i thought i would never meet at a place like WSCC

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I actually found it very easy for my first semester!

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: They are very helpful. they are located everywhere!

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The speed and access is awesome.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I actually haven't had the opportunity to take an online class. so i don't really know how to rate it. I've heard other students say that its great but i personally haven't taken a class online

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Its my first year at any school and i believe i made the right choice on attending WSCC. I love it! I wouldn't move to any other community college that isn't like WSCC
