Local Atmosphere: The closest shopping center is 20-30 minutes away. I'm okay with this, however they should build a gas station closer. The area is pretty rural near the college. The locals really seem to appreciate students. Our main attraction closest to the college is Oglebay. Wheeling is the closest city.

Local Atmosphere: CAMPUS BITES – this campus isnt near much. so when the weekend comes you better prepare for a warm blanket , coffee and movies. the campus is small there isnt much for us to do. there isnt anywhere to hang out everything closes except for jazzmans which is the coffee place in the union.

still sucks though.

Local Atmosphere: The Highlands – The highlands is a new local development that consists of a variety of restaurants, shopping, and businesses. All buildings are newly constructed with state of the art equipment. Where I attend classes is an off-campus location. Being an adult learner, it makes it nice to not be on campus with High School graduates. We also have a security guard that walks the ahllway while class is in session and before and after classes. The professors are right on campus with office hours directly after class is over for one hour. All of my classmates and I absolutely love this school and program.

Local Atmosphere: West Liberty is a very small campus on top of a large and windy hill. The nerist store or activite sights away from campus is ten to fifteen minutes away. This makes the students do more on campus. There is a recreation building that has everything from an indoor trak, to wieghts, to cycling,to swimming. You can always see students playing corn hole frezzbe on campus. Our campus is very safe mosty because of our size- everyone knows everything on a small campus. All in all we have a hug mix of everything for just a small campus.
