Tuition & Financial Aid: Follow up – The education I am getting is well worth the money it is costing. Financial aid has been very communicative in the needs I have to complete and making sure that I get all of the monies I am qualified for to help me achieve my degree.

Academic Experience: Intense, Stimulating, Rewarding – I am a psychiatric technician major, the first term had a lot of knowledge, a lot of hours, but it felt very rewarding. The professors were very interactive and supportive which provided me with more drive to succeed. All of my classes pertained to the profession I am working towards and made me feel that I was in the right direction to accomplish my goals.

Student Body: I have to admit that the student body at West Hills College is very Diverse. We have many students from Japan, China, Russia, and even from other states as well. Many are from Hawii, South and North Carolina, New York, even Pittsburg. The great thing is that we all seem to get along.

Online Courses: Nothing Like a Good Laugh – The online courses at West Hills Community College are a joke. They do not go as indepth as they need to on any subject. Also West Hills is constantly changing their online platform. So that once you learn how to navigate the site, and turn in your work, they are changing it to a new site, where you have no clue as to how to even access your online class let alone turn in your work. As for the online instructors, they might as well not be present, since they do not answer e-mail or phone messages.

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexibility – Over all the academic flexibility was pretty good. I did not have trouble finding classes that fit around my schedule, but I did encounter some problems while trying to obtain financial aid.
