Off-Campus Dining: Middletown definitely has great eating options. It's Only Natural is a nice place to eat.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many food options in Middletown, affording them however is another story. Forbidden City is one of my favorites places on main street, but very expensive and only good for special occasions. The places that offer the best student discounts are the two Frozen yogurt shops on main street. Ethnic food such as Japanese, Indian, Mexican, and Thai are all found on Main street (which a 10 minute walk from campus). I'm giving an A because NYC has amazing food options that many Wesleyan students go to over school breaks or the weekend get-away.

Off-Campus Dining: Middletown is full of different dining options, and most every student LOVES the food trucks that come to campus on the weekends. The falaffel truck to the grilled cheese truck have huge lines on weekend nights because people adore them.

Off-Campus Dining: Main st. is just a 5 minute walk away and has lot of different options for different budgets. There's Thai food, Sushi (and some half price days), Vietnamese, Italian, upscale and regular Pizza, Mexican food and delicious ice-cream and frozen yogurt!

Off-Campus Dining: There are some really great options for off campus, from diners to very nice (and $$) restaurants.

The off-campus dining around Wesleyan is fantastic. People come from miles around to taste the diverse cuisines of Middletown—seriously. It is the town's main allure. From Thai to Asian fusion to Italian to Mexican (surprisingly good Mexican, given how far away Middletown is from Mexico), Main Street has it all.

If you want to venture beyond walking distance, there are even more options. The Athenian (a 24-hour diner that doubles as a late-night Wesleyan hangout) has huge portions and low prices, and you can get ingredients to cook at the nearby Price Chopper or Stop & Shop. There are chains (Taco Bell, Domino's, McDonald's) a five-minute drive away, and even a mall with a nice food court 15 minutes away.

Did You Know?
Middletown is home to a fascinating cross-section of people and some of the most interesting work at restaurants. Chat up your waiter or waitress, and you're sure to get a few good stories. Though the service at Middletown restaurants tends to vary, sometimes the most endearing dining experiences occur at places where the service is terrible. The Neon Deli is famous for its cranky employees, but with the right sense of humor, this trait can be a plus.
