3 College Freshman

Computers: I have my own laptop but if I need to use the computer lab it is usually pretty open. The speed of network is slow because all students are trying to access it. All in all, I am pretty happy with our computers/techs.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Certainly computers available across campus, it just depends on if it works is the real question. A variety of the computers are Acer or old Mac desktops, so the server is working as fast as it can.

Computers: The computer labs at Wells College are normally full throughout the school year. Everyone on campus does not own or have access to a personal computer. In order to use the computer labs you have to wake up extremely early or stay up late to retrieve a computer in the lab. The WIFI on campus could use some improvement. When in certain locations on campus you will not have strong WiFi connection which created a huge problem on campus for many students.

Computers: Network is pathetic, you can't even reliably stream video or audio--same for the classrooms--the teachers are often frustrated. Wifi not in all parts of campus. Off of campus Wifi is non-existent. Definitely bring your own computer or laptop, but don't expect any support. Most campus computers are about two-generations old--same for software. Seriously, there are still Mac G5s on campus.

3 College Junior

Computers: There are many computer labs throughout the campus. There have been many problems this year with printing issues but hopefully they will have the system fully worked out soon. The network can get pretty crowded sometimes and isn't the best available. It is good to have your own computer and printer but is not necessary as the library is open late at night, and the dorm that is attached to the dining building has its own computer lab available. Your own computer will be helpful for your entertainment.
