3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I do not each out much. I am on a budget.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There is lots of options for off campus dinning, just no student discounts.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: We have a system called "Gorlock Bucks" that you can purchase along with your meal plan, I enjoy it because many of the restaurants close to campus accept the bucks as a form of payment. This allows for a better variety of eating besides school food when you need something different. Many of the restaurants are close by or offer delivery service which is very convenient.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining has many convenient places to choose from and within a short driving distance many more.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Good amount of options and variety. Mostly personal preference.

The closest off-campus dining options are a mix of chain and franchise restaurants and locally-owned businesses. They are within walking distance from campus, making it ideal for a quick bite between classes or something different for when you are tired of on-campus dining. Places such as Cyrano's, Racanelli's Pizzeria, Stratton's Café, and Boardwalk Café can offer breakfast plate meals, salads, pasta, wraps, soups, and entrée meals, both vegetarian and not.

Be prepared to pay about $2 to $4 extra for the local business prices. A salad at Cyrano's is both good and bought locally, but it can cost you about $9.50 compared to McDonald's salads for $5 or $6. Depending on the meal and the restaurant, you may get more than what you paid for. A wrap from Stratton's Café, for example, can cover a whole plate, and half of it could fill you up easily. There are also some specialty foods that are served within a few of these restaurants, like the gelato or Italian ice cream found in Stratton's Café, or the St. Louis-style thin-crust pizza from Imo's, located right next door. Some restaurants also offer discounts or specials during the week, like Weber's Front Row $5 bottomless wings on Monday nights.
