Facts & Statistics

Tips for Getting In
  • Be yourself. Webster is known for having artsy/creative students.
  • Get involved in high school activities.
  • Have a good sense of communication.
  • Learn and understand your writing skills.
  • Maintain good grades.
  • Show some interest in getting into Webster. The majority of the students has at least one top reason why they chose to enroll there, and it's a great first icebreaker for meeting people on campus.
Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming To School
  • How expensive things can be (textbooks, food, etc.)
  • How to manage finances (tuition, financial aid)
Interviews & Information Sessions
There are no interview sessions needed, unless you are planning to study in the film, music, theater, dance, or art departments. Portfolio reviews and auditions are required during your admissions process. You can find dates and reserve an on-campus review or audition at this site: http://explore.webster.edu/admissions/undergraduate/freshmen/applying.
Campus Tours
There is an online form that you can fill out to reserve a campus tour. It is recommended that you arrange a tour on a weekday, to see the campus at its full potential. Personalized options include sitting in on a class, talking with faculty and/or staff, and attending a campus event.
Overnight Visits
The option to stay overnight is not mentioned on the Webster website; however, there can be some negotiations made with the University to make this happen.
