3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online classes at this class yet!

Student Body: The student body at the school isn't too bad. I encounter slobs, geeks, free spirits, up tight, and caring people.

2 College Sophomore

Facilities: Everything needs a face lift. The facilities are out of date and we new things for attractions and excitement.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The only part I didn't like about the financial part was the fact that I had to wait until the end of the semester to receive my refund. But I did receive enough funding to pay for all of my classes and books for those classes I have taken.

Career Services: I went to my personal counselor and she was a very awesome person to work with. She helped me decide on the classes I only needed to take towards my degree. She helped me apply for funding towards school and apply for any opportunity that would help me advance in my field. She made herself personally available toe after work hours.

Overall Experience: The continuing education classes are fun. Senior living in Wayne county attend free. It's not perfect, but it's a great opportunity for those looking for a better future. They wait until the end of the semester to give out refunds. Some but not all of the teacher aren't passionate about their topic in which they teach. Which makes it easy to become just another number. My counselor was a very beautiful person inside and out. If I had any questions or concerns she was always there to provide help. Overall I do enjoy the courses I took there and do plan on attending in the future to receive an associates degree.

Overall Experience: I do not mind attending this school. I have had some very beneficial instructors as well as some awful ones. But the good outweighs the bad. I am not high maintenance. I love the affordability and that is why I chose this school.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is cheap and very affordable for all. That is the main reason I am going here.

Facilities: The best thing about my school is the affordability of my classes and the location of the campus.

Online Courses: My online professor is absolutely awful. I have had many problems with him. He never responds to emails or questions posted on the website. He is extremely unclear with his instructions and some of the dates are set to over a year ago. Pure laziness.

Academic Experience: The curriculum can sometimes be too light, a lot of it is stuff I have already learned in high school. I already attended high school so I want to learn new things. I am paying for it, after all.

Academic Flexibility: Some of my professors are horrible about getting back to you in an email or being clear in class. If that happens, I tend to drop the class and register for one with a better professor.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is rarely nice wifi connection which makes it impossible to study/do homework in between classes. There is literally always a problem when it comes to internet connection.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: We do have a library but it is small and I never use it nor am I interested in using it. I would rather go to my local library.

Student Body: Wayne County Community College Downriver is definitely a mixing pot. It is extremely diverse and I do appreciate that factor of the school. However, I do not find the student body particularly driven. Most show up to the first couple of classes, skip almost the entire semester, then show up for the final exam. There is a lot of coasting that goes on. This can sometimes be discouraging for me because I am one of the only students putting forth effort. But I do not let it get to me too much to the point that it is affecting my school work.

College Junior

Online Courses: I never did any online courses, so I can't give an opinion on them.

Academic Flexibility: There are a few classes that get filled out really quick, so you have to sign up really fast or you get in the classroom at all. On the bright side, there are options on time tables on a lot of classes.

Student Body: As far as I can tell, there isn't any racism or anything going on. There's also a lot of diversity at the school, like a little of everything goes here.
