Local Atmosphere: Full of happy people but not much to do if you don't have a car

Local Atmosphere: Again, I go to the Vancouver campus so I am located near Portland, Oregon. There are numerous near us including a few community colleges in both Portland and Vancouver as well as Portland State University. We have a lot of great shopping, hiking, and venues around the area that bring in a lot of interesting events. This is a great location to live because it's got a little bit of everything located nearby.

Local Atmosphere: WSU is located in Pullman, Washington-- a very small town about 15 minutes from Idaho. Being in small means there is not a lot to do in the city. However, students learn to make the most of what we have. There's a bowling alley, movie theatre, and good places to eat off campus which students love to partake in mostly on the weekends. My school puts on many activities for students to attend, wehter it is specifically for students who are dorming or everyone on campus as a whole. Our games-- especially football, basketball, and volleyball)-- are our most energetic activities. Everyone sings chants and has the opportunity to win free t-shirts! Cougs are always in the mood for fun!
