3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: On campus everyone is pretty happy about living in topeka. There are plenty of things to go such as tons of museums and historical buildings, tons of shopping, and lots of parks to enjoy on a nice day. There is a small attitude about the idea that topeka is not a safe place but once you learn the city you realize that just like any city there safe areas and not safe areas. Almost all thr student activities are in great areas with tons to do.

4 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: Topeka is a large city. It is the capital of Kansas. There are beautiful flowers all over the city, especially by the capitol building. The zoo is excellent and there are plenty of parks. There is a wide variety of shopping experiences and restaurant options. Many people from smaller towns will travel to Topeka to shop.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Its not the best and its not the worst. Just an average city that is increasingly unsafe.

2 College Student

Local Atmosphere: It is Topeka. I don't know why the people at Washburn say they want to leave it so much yet still go to Washburn. There isn't much to do, which is odd considering it's a small city. Luckily Lawrence and Kansas City aren't super far away

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Not much to do for college students off of campus. Regular town with regular attractions; resturants, mall, zoo, few bars.
