3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There have been many instances involving vehicles getting broken into and valuables being stolen out of my dance studio at the university. Even after the campus police viewed the tapes, nothing got accomplished. There is too much theft on Washburn' campus right now.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Usually feel very safe. If walking alone, if you call Security, they will walk with you to the car.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Since I have started school in 2012 I have never felt in any kind of danger the campus police are constantly making their presence know and have multiple safety features put up around the campus so as to keep us students safe even when they are not directly in our presence.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: It is not the worst but there are always room for improvement when it comes to safety.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: As a student at Washburn University, I have not seen or heard of any crime on campus, but what the school police/ security does is they print out a chart that has every type of crime with the number of occurrences of such crimes. Police are constantly patrolling campus seeing what activities are taking place and always approaches to get information or just to chat.

As for health measures, the school health services are fantastic. Free to students (at least included in activities fees) and provide timely services.
