Overall Experience: It has been great so far. Nursing is probably one of the most mentally exhausting programs to go through but it will be well worth it once I graduate. Instructors are excellent, extra learning resources/tutors are available, the campus is clean and safe, every department tries their best to help in any way and the new facilities/lab rooms are state of the art!

Campus Resources: I can only comment on my nursing building because I am there full time. It is state of the art and a must see!

Facilities: All facilities are very clean, up to date and cared for with pride. Facilities are always being updated and cleaned. We have a beautiful southern/small town campus.

Career Services: We begin preparing our portfolios early in our education. There are plenty of opportunities to join different organizations, volunteer and add to my portfolio. We have job fairs, an excellent alumni network and job prospects are always keeping an eye on us for early hiring opportunities. I believe once I graduate, I will still have support from my school and career center with employment. My school nursing program holds a very high reputation for graduating nurses that have learned from the best teachers! Post grad services are available as well. There is excellent employment preparation each semester with my nursing program.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Our financial advising office is excellent with staying on top of things and each employee works with you to find the funding for school. I don't qualify for any kind of financial aid other than student loans because of my previous year income. I am not working now with full time school, therefore, I am doing everything I can to find scholarships to help pay for tuition. My average semester costs are a litter over $2500/semester including books, tuition, clinical costs, fees, and gas to/from clinical sites/school alone. I drive 140 miles per day round trip for school alone. I do wish that there was some kind of financial aid offered to those students who do not work while in school but did work the previous year. Any kind of help, other than student loans would be much appreciated!

Academic Flexibility: My only setback is that all required courses aren't offered each semester. Therefore, it sets me back 6 months waiting on a class to be offered if one needs to be retaken. My curriculum is very stressful and exhausting but the instructors try to help as much as possible. There is so much content per semester that you must learn and pass the 1st time or else you will need to wait for the class to be offered in the future. Each and every instructor has gone above and beyond with teaching experiences and they all really love what they do. I am thankful to have great instructors and a brand new teaching facility to be able to learn and perform labs in. Our new facility has every piece of equipment and learning modality available for me to take advantage of and to assist me in my schooling. Classes and curriculum are set, therefore, you have to take the initiative to use all resources available to you! It has been a great place to learn.

Academic Experience: I wanted to be away from Hartselle, so I decided to be with people I really didn't know. Plus I didn't care for Calhoun.

Campus Resources: The resources I visited on campus were very well organized, clean, and the staff was very polite. I made several trips to the student center, library, and basketball games. Everything on campus is also placed in the appropriate area making it very easy to find.

Campus Resources: As stated previously, I am a full time online student and my college has an extremely reliable/ fast network. Very few technical issues occured and when they did, I received immediate service to get the issue resolved. The technical support team is very quick and helpful.

Overall Experience: The college I attend has excellent instructors and technology. I am a full time student taking five classes each semester online and everything was very easy to navigate. If any technical issues came up, the instructors were extremely helpful and polite as well as the technical support group on campus.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: My online courses are so specific and up to date with nursing techniques. There are videos, lectures, quizzes and practice exams to help prepare all students. You learn what you make of it and the resource is always available to go in and look back for a quick review whenever you need.

Academic Experience: I throughly enjoy my program. We are apart of the health division so we wear a certain color scrub and are really helpful to one another. Our instructors are the nicest and most helpful teachers I have ever had.
