3 College Junior

Health & Safety: They do have campus security if you feel threatened.

2 College Junior

Weather: The weather is very cold and snowy. I do not like it. if the school was an hour south it would be more convenient.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The off campus dining is very average. There is very few options but they are better than what is on campus.

4 College Senior

Computers: The computer lab is usually only available to the Communication students, but all students are offered a laptop to used while at school; although many students bring their own computers.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: I truly love Waldorf College. It's one of the best colleges. The counselors /staff all make sure that you have what you need ..when you need it . We have great degreed professionals. I wouldn't trade this school in for anything .

4 College Junior

Academics: I am an online student at Waldorf College and my experiences have been great. The staff are helpful, encouraging, willing and knowledgeable to help their students. I am currently a third year Psych student and I find the workload to be comparable to other majors. I work very hard and write lengthy essays often, but I think that is part of the online atmosphere.

4 College Senior

Diversity: Many diverse students from across the nation, especially Florida, California, and Iowa. There is probably someone from every state and the international program creates even more diversity.

3 College Senior

Facilities: Library is the best facility at Waldorf. The YMCA and field house are open to all students but are of average status. The CIC building provides lots of fun games. The campus warrior cup challenges each semester are fun and there are usually ample opportunities to get out of town and go to the Mall of America or a sports event.

3 College Senior

Majors: If you are a business major you are set for an easy route to a degree with good professors. Biology and science departments are also good, as well as the English department. Most majors at Waldorf have few teachers, but you get to know them easily. Psychology department seems to be struggling.

2 College Senior

Transportation: There is not much transportation around Waldorf to use if you don't have car. Most of the community is walking distance from apartments and dorms. Having a means of transportation is not necessary unless you live outside of Forest City where the college is.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: There is a relatively good amount of apartments near campus and prices are fairly low. The only problem is finding an apartment before they all become unavailable. It is good to have a plan of where and who you are going to live with one semester or more to talk with a realtor on getting the apartment next.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: I have always felt safe at Waldorf. There has never been a time in 3 years where I thought I was in harms way. The whole town is really a pretty safe place.

3 College Senior

Facilities: There are always actitivies going on. Most people hang out in their rooms or lobbies of the dorm rooms and the Atrium. During the day there are always people in the Atrium. The athletic centers are pretty good but if you aren't an athlete you use the YMCA which is connected to the Fieldhouse. You get a membership to the Y through the school.

3 College Senior

Facilities: The professors are very personal. They know you by name and work with you to make sure you understand the material. The small campus is nice because there aren't many safety concerns and you get to know everyone.

3 College Senior

Transportation: They will take you anywhere you need to go. They charge for airport trips but if you have to go to the doctor they'll take you.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Most of the AC and RA only crack down when completely out of hand. But there are some that are very strict and nit picky about small stuff,

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: It is good sometimes but it seems like when its good then everything is good but when its bad you basically do not eat that time.

3 College Junior

Weather: It gets pretty cold in the winter and the summers are very hot but I guess I am used to it. A lot of students complain about the weather but what can they expect, its northern Iowa.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: It is fairly easy to find and the extra freedom is well worth it.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: They help when asked but they do not explain very well.

1 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food here is the worst. There's only one cafeteria and the serve alot of leftovers.

2 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There's not alot of people on campus. It is very dry, I don't like it here at all.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The Campus is very dry and there isn't much to do.

5 College Junior

Majors: Instructors are awesome and lots of clinical experience provided

College Sophomore

Weather: It depends what kind of weather you like. During the winter it gets into the negative degrees and during the summer it gets really hot and humid.
