4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: This school spends a lot of time making sure the students will succeed. All of the professors and all other staff I have had contact with have been very professional, helpful and supportive.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am so desperate in getting financial help and I do not want to loose my studies due to that because Walden has given me a big insight more worthy than the funds I am running short to pay.I am struggling to get tuition and finanacial help up to now and I wish the school can have another way to accommodate me to finish my degree and I am prepared to pay my arrears when this issue turns in my favor during the process of my studies. I want to keep and proceed with what I have earned from this university.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I would have to say that I transfer to this because the tuition is more cheaper than my other financial institution. They do work with you and is worth every penny.

Campus Resources: My school has an excellent support group that guide you through your education smoothly. Through the program I found that sharing your ideas with your classmates and other college students is an very reliable source for you to get support.

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because it allowed me to use my career accredidation towards enrollment. I did not have to take the GMAT, nor any other grad school entrance exams. I really want to prove that I can do this at this point in my life.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Although ours is a virtual campus, there are several resources available to students via the myWalden student portal. One simply has to seek out assistance when needed and or if confused with the online format/information. There are actual human beings (student services representatives) at the ready to help.

Student Body: Attending classes virtually opens up each of our lives to an array of colleagues from various walks of life; many of whom hail from literally all over the globe. The most common thread among each of us appears to be that we are mostly working adults with family units that depend upon our presence and contributions. Overall, I am very grateful to have such an array of life experiences and wonderfully diverse perspectives.

Academic Flexibility: The primary concern for me in returning to college after 20 years to complete my undergraduate degree was my ongoing ability to continue to be accessible to my family and team at work. Attending Walden University has been one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Online classes have granted me the opportunity to pursue my academic dreams and remain an active participant in my family and life, overall.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition fee is very reasonable. The financial aid approval was quick which I was very glad about. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Walden University.

Academic Flexibility: I have never been late on an assignment. I have typically received quick and rational feedback that gives me information on how to improve my work.

I appreciate the fact that I am not held to any specific hours to log into my class, as long as I get my work in on time.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have contacted the financial aid department a few times at Walden and always got a good answer or prompt service.

I was curious how I have family members who joined the university after I recommended them, and they get 25% off tuition, and I get an envelope with a small seed pack in it. Doesn't seem equitable, if you ask me.

Student Body: I have had very few issues with academic or administrative areas within Walden, but I would have to wonder how students get to the doctoral level and still are unable to properly format a simple reference in APA. I think the enrollment requirements for Grad and PhD coursework should be more stringent to weed out those who do not know there, they're, their...

Tuition & Financial Aid: The value of the education I am getting is great. The tuition is not the cheapest so plan accordingly. Financial aid is great in assisting with getting money for school. One drawback for financial aid is if you are at your limits, there is really no alternative to help pay for school. There are very few scholarships, grants, work study programs, etc. to assist with the tuition bill.

Academic Experience: In the IT major, I had to write KAMs. KAMs are short for knowledge area modules; they are generally 90 pages or so. They were difficult for me and really slowed my academic progress. Recently, Walden began to offer KAM residencies. They really helped me along with the process. I also suggest writing center courses. They are grand!!

Career Services: They tend to come back to you with an answer very quickly, however, some of the things that they provide you with are not accurate. I would give them a C.

Campus Resources: The computer network at Walden University has been great. I rarely experience any problems with the website and when a problem does occur the issue is resolved fairly quick. A personal computer and printer or access to these resources on a daily basis is required. The website design is easy to use.

Campus Resources: Since Walden University classes are completely on-line there is not much of a 'social scene' per say other than on-line clubs and activities. However, Walden University has students attending from around the world. In every class I have had we introduce ourselves and are required to respond to fellow students posts. This gives us a unique perspective on cultural diversity that people may not experience at other universities. Walden also offers opportunities for students to become involved in helping local communities, nationally, and globally as well.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is higher then it would be at my local colleges, however some of that is made up for by the fact there is traveling expense with on-line schools. The financial aid office at Walden University guides you step by step on how to apply for grants and loans and they are easily reached just about any time by phone or e-mail to answer questions. If you need any advice for getting financial aid at Walden University, the web site offers many suggestions or you can speak with someone directly with any questions.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: i have not had to transfer credits so but my schedule is very flexible i have to ensure my assignments are done on time however i do not have a specific time to attend classes everyday as my classes are online

Career Services: The post-grad services is very good at Walden, faculty is very helpful especially as i take online classes any issues or difficulties i have had, i have been assisted promptly. My course has practicums and internships which provide training and help to prepare me for the job market. Residencies also help students to network with staff and other students.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The Student Services makes it easy to access my transcripts, accounts, balances and program information. I can also join in discussions with other students through the eCampus links.

Online Courses: Walden University has students in over 140 countries! During class, it is interesting to read about the different perspectives from so many cultures. Although many of us are from so many different communities, most of us share a common ground and that is juggling the demands of work and family while benefiting from the conveniences of online learning.
