Campus Resources: It works well but it can be a little slow at times.

Student Body: It is my understanding that through the online format study, I will be able to meet students from all over the United States. While enjoying the collegial collaboration online, I also understand that most of the students have their own work and family obligations to attend to. However, the networking experience was very valuable for me.

Academic Flexibility: The reason chose Walden University was because the online format of the study fit into my work schedule so that I could be working and studying at the same time. I didn't have any issue transferring credits when going straight into the EdD program after completing my EdS degree at Walden.

Academic Flexibility: This is an online university that will provide you the flexibility to work and go to school at the same time. Your due dates remain the same each week and as soon as the class opens you have access to work for the whole course so you can plan your schedule accordingly.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education is well worth the money I am spending and the teachers bring value experience from their fields into the classroom. As long as you do your work on time and work hard to earn your grades you will do well at Walden.

Student Body: The student body is diverse with members from all over the world. Most appear to be working and attending university at the same time. Because we don't physically see each other - we are not always privy to ethnic, economic, political or religious ties unless someone chooses to disclose that information in a discussion posting. When people do share this information - everyone else seems appreciative to learn about their views and experiences as it tends to help others understand and appreciate insight that we might otherwise not be exposed to.

Online Courses: I have really enjoyed taking online courses. I have found that I receive more teacher feedback as well as more interaction between students and the instructor. All of my instructors have been readily available one way or another which is rare with face-to-face courses. The workload is definitely there - which is appropriate for the degree - however the fact that I don't have to drive anywhere and I have the flexibility to interact when I am able - makes up for it. Walden offers 24 hour online support and chat which other universities don't - which is an even greater feature and support. They also have various layers of support which are set up to periodically check on you and your progress which is also designed to help you succeed.

Academic Flexibility: I have had a mostly positive experience with Walden. I actually transferred to a big name school, hated it and transferred back to Walden because I was so pleased with the experience and the overall environment.

Campus Resources: The library is fantastic. It is pretty easy to use.

Campus Resources: The Walden online system is relatively simple to use

Tuition & Financial Aid: Since my son also goes to this university, the family discount really helped.

Campus Resources: Their curriculum is excellent and very informative. What I have learned from my classes will have me ready to deal with the real world of business.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am getting is worth the tution that is paid. I am unable to get access to financial aid because I am from Antigua and Barbuda. This is a disadvantage for in my island $1 US= $2.85E.C .

Online Courses: This was a new experience. It began with some anxiety. The discussion post was initially nerve racking, but my classmates were very encouraging and since my first class I have enjoyred the experience.
Online learning differs from traditional experience because there is a heavy workload to be done with not much supervision and motivation from a classroom teacher, the instructors in online learning serve as coaches to guide students to complete the syllabus. In online learning , students must be able to manage time and be self motivated to ensure success.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I am unsure and will find out as soon as coursework begins

College Sophomore

Career Services: I haven't had enough experience to comment as this will be my first semester.

4 College Student

Online Courses: Great teachers and materials just a little expensive.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial office could help students understand more about student loans and scholarships. In the beginning I was not aware that student loans was a bad ideal. Now i am well aware that a Student loan is not my best or only option. However, they are willing to help you find ways to pay for your education so this is why they earn an A.

Tuition & Financial Aid: This department gets this grade because they have earned it. The have been completely honest with me and guided me in the right direction each time. I am currently in need of scholarships in order to finish my college education. They always point me in the right direction.

4 College Junior

Career Services: They offer webinars for interviewing, careers, and networking for employment.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: Relevant topics to program, supportive professors, great peer interaction through discussion posts.

Campus Resources: I am attending school online, and in the 2 years that I have been enrolled with this school, have only encountered one problem of an outage for the network. I do not use school equipment as I am not on campus. The speed of the network is great with very few glitches.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of the faculty has been amazing. The curriculum is challenging, but rewarding in the end. I speak with my enrollment counselor about once a month just to check in with her and tell her how I'm doing in classes. I'm enrolled in the online program, and honestly think that it's one of the better programs out there.
