Career Services: I am unsure because I am currently still in graduate school but I have nothing but great information regarding alumni advancing their careers.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is worth the education I am receiving. I do believe it will pay off at the end.

Academic Experience: I enjoy the positive feedback from the professors. However the challenge I face is the exchange of different professors and familiarizing myself with their teaching habits, then after 12 weeks having to get to know another professor with different teaching habits. I would appreciate if there could be the same instructors for the entire program or a small amount of professors for that particular degree program only.

Academic Experience: I enjoy having the opportunity to experience a broader degree in Human Services, and being able to include a specialization in my area of interest (counseling). The class assignments can be challenging but it is worth it at the end. That is what motivates me to continue my studies.

Online Courses: I enjoy the flexible time line, however the classes can be an overload, especially as a single mother raising 3 children under the age of 12. I do appreciate the feedback from the instructors and the easy access to my coursework and degree audit.

Academic Experience: I'm currently a business student. I been attending Walden for 4 years, and hope to completed my studies this year. However I have experience that the program works great with my life. Some of the workload can be overwhelming sometime. I find that the curriculum is great. Walden uses all of my credits that was transfer over. I must say I think the classes is very expense. At this time I don't have enough money to completed the courses. Walden does not give the students no help with trying to find ways to help students finish the program.

Campus Resources: The library resources at Walden are awesome!! The librarians are very knowledgeable and if they are unsure, they will find the information needed and get back with you within 24 hours.

Online Courses: My experience with the online courses has been wonderful. I've had such a positive opportunity to interact with various professors and other adults who are pursuing their degrees. We have the opportunity to utilize technology such as online cameras, email, and conference calls.

Student Body: The individuals I have had the opportunity to work with are all working adults who have a desire to continue their education. The professors at Walden are very educated in the areas they teach. I have leaned a great deal from class discussion and having the opportunity to learn from others and their experiences.

Academic Experience: I enjoy my major and experience at Walden. Every course I have taken would prepare or enhance me for what I intend to do in my career.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I think the schools curriculum is about average. I would like to see the professors be more respectful to some of the students when they are having a difficult time grasping a topic or assignment. The course registration is fairly easy, and academic advising will assist you if there are nay issues.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do not feel that the amount I pay is worth the education I am receiving. Especially from the lower core courses. Also, each year tuition creeps up, while the economy has not recovered, and this is a school who has much less overhead than a traditional school. I think that this school, along with most universities in the United States, are gouging students. Do we need to pay 1400 to 1500 for one six week course that is online?

Campus Resources: Walden is in online school. Although there are forums and a few clubs, depending on your major, there isn't much if a social scene. As an adult learner, I prefer this. I do not have time to socialize when I have work and a family to take care of. For students who feel it is important, they might find they prefer a brick and mortar school.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: There have been issues with trying to access the network for quizzes, or compatibility issues with software required by the school. But for the most part, the teachers and the school in general get things going again quite quickly, and I have been satisfied in this aspect of the school.

Career Services: If you return for graduate they provide a discount

Academic Experience: My academic experience at Walden University has been excellent. Specifically, the curriculum is up-to-date and relevant information taught by leading professionals in the field; further, the majority of my professors have shown a individual interest in my academic progression through regular communications and updates.

College Senior

Campus Resources: This does not apply to my educational experiences.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Walden University provided a wide range of online resources unique to the e-learning environment to ensure their student's success.

Career Services: Walden University's alumni association has personally contacted me to learn more about my experiences and career path as they relate to my education at Walden. I felt they association's staff were truly interested and engaged in my personal story.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Walden University provides several "campus" resources such as student services (i.e. support, guidance), discounted supplies (i.e. computers, software), and online networking environments that have contributed to my success as a student.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: Walden University has developed a social psychology program that is connected to the professional community and taught by leading professionals in the field. My instructor and guidance in my first two terms have been amazing.

Academic Flexibility: I selected this school because of the academic flexibility that comes along with online learning. I've found it frustrating in meeting the goals of the doctoral study that is essential for completing the program. The left hand never seems to know what the right hand is doing. The writing center and professors do not seem to be on the same page as to the paper's requirements.
