Overall Experience: I have disability issues and so going to this school has made it possible for me to continue my education when it is not always feasible for me to leave my house. The flexibility of working on classwork at my own pace and schedule is also great.

Academic Experience: It is a strong curriculum and has recently been adapted to more closely fit to the model of the industrial and organizational psychology standards, but is not accredited, which is a negative in many states.

Academic Experience: This totally differs depending on what professor you have. Some are excellent and teach with enthusiasm, working with the students to help them learn. Others do not put much effort in. The curriculum is thorough and seems to match what is expected in the fields of study and at other schools.

Career Services: There is a career services department that helps with resume and job planning and frequently features webinars.

Facilities: This is an online school, so most of the facilities are not an issue. However, I really like the school's library, which has online access to many different books and articles.

Online Courses: The workload is challenging and it requires and strengthens student motivation and self-regulation. It offers freedom to work when and where you want. Some of the teachers are excellent and really work to teach well and interact well, but some of the teachers seem to take the lazy way and barely show up in the classroom. The peer to peer interaction varies, but there is a requirement to engage with other students in the classroom and connecting with others even outside of the classroom is encouraged.

Campus Resources: The school is completely online, so there is no campus computer labs or printing or wireless access, but those things are available at the residencies. A personal computer is a necessity.

Campus Resources: For a school that is completely online, they make an effort to provide things that you would not necessarily expect them to, such as centers for student support, writing center, activities during residencies, and they have an excellent library.

Academic Flexibility: My credits transferred without a problem and I was able to get the classes I needed without any trouble.

Student Body: This school attracts people from many walks of life and from a diversity of backgrounds as it allows people to be in an environment where appearances do not matter, where they can have a regular job or be a full-time parent and still get an education, and where those who have a disability that would make it unlikely for them to go out of the house to school can still get an education online.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They do offer financial aid and I was able to get student loans, however I did not rate it higher because the tuition is very expensive and I have spent many years now in the Dissertation phase, some quarters mostly waiting for responses from committee members or other people, and each quarter that I am working on the dissertation, I am having to pay around $3,500 each quarter.

Overall Experience: I believe the best experiences at Walden is that I have been offered multiple honor society opportunities, the teachers are excellent, the classes are small enough that you feel as if you are getting individual attention, the classmates are encouraging and enlightening, and if I have a question, all I have to do is ask. I love going to Walden and am praying I can get scholarship assistance in order to continue my education. At this point, I may be forced to drop out or suspend my education due to financial assistance needed.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid answers questions nearly immediately. I have run out of financial aid and desperately need scholarships to finish my Bachelor's degree. I look to graduate at the end of this year (hopefully), if I can get scholarships. They offer tutorials on how to navigate the financial aid process, including podcasts.

Online Courses: I enjoy the online courses. Although I do not see my classmates or professor face-to-face, our discussions are interactive. The workload can be difficult at times (required reading assignments), but it's workable. The professor/student relationship is awesome because you can email your professor any time of day or night and receive a response within hours or a day on average. The registration process was easy, signing up for new classes is easy, and the program is easy to navigate.

Facilities: There are so many things to do to participate with other students. There are many honor societies one can join. The best part of my college is the opportunity to work with individuals from all over the world.

Student Body: Being an online university, there is a wide variety of students from all over the world! I am from Texas and I've met individuals from New York, California, Oregon, Virginia, and many other states and countries. Several of these people are now my Facebook friends.

Academic Flexibility: I can choose when and where to study, which courses I would like to take, and with due dates of assignments and discussions, it is easy to make a schedule that works best for me.

Career Services: I have only used the career center once, but the information provided was excellent. I could tell that the career center was very involved with the opportunities available after graduation and how to obtain those opportunities.

Campus Resources: Although an online class, the library is one of the best, in my personal opinion. There are virtual student centers and multiple activities that students can participate in.

Campus Resources: Our school is based online, so computer labs, printing, etc. aren't necessarily applicable. Students must have a computer with virus protection. The network is very reliable and any updates are done when most students are not online.

Academic Experience: The professors at my college are prominent in their field with years of experience and some with multiple degrees. The curriculum is written with specific information related to the course. The class registration process shows you exactly what you need to get your degree, what each class covers, and there is such a wide variety to choose from. The workload can vary from very difficult to fairly light, depending on the class. Our college focuses on social change and offers contests for scholarship opportunities. There are multiple honor societies available. Although the deadlines on assignments are specific dates, the time and amount of studying is up to the student. The staff and classmates are exemplary influences on the learning process.

Academic Experience: I go to Walden University online, so facilities and internship do not necessarily apply. The workload can be light to very difficult, depending on the class. I really enjoy that support is available when needed. I find that the Walden University library is very extensive and easy to use/access. Having Grammarly available really helps and I enjoy that I go to school with people from all over the world!

Academic Flexibility: I was bothered that none of my credits from my previous degree program with them didn't transfer over. My other program was in forensic psychology and with a specialization in forensic counseling for my mental health program, there were some classes that I already took. They said the set-up is different and that's why they wouldn't transfer in.

Facilities: Walden may be the only online university that has a CACREP accredited program. If there are others, they are few in number.
