Academic Experience: The unique aspects of my program is the rigor work associated to the curriculum. Many individuals feel that online courses are easy and view online colleges as paper mills. I would be the first one to tell you that Walden University is not a paper mill. This is a course that has thought long and hard about the challenges they want to prepare their students for in the future. Let's just say, no stone is left unturned. I value all that Walden has to offer and I am challenged by the workload involved in my line of study.

Academic Experience: I have found my academic professors to be knowledgeable in their subject areas. There have been a many times where my professor have called to communicate clarity to me or I have called them for one reason or another. These professional never appear to be irritated by the calls or unable to answer my questions. My concerns were always addressed in a time manner. I would recommend Walden's professor to anyone.

Online Courses: Online courses have made it possible for me to continue working while earning a higher education. Without the availability of online courses, there was no way that I, as a single mother, could have accomplished all that I have done so far. The amazing thing about online courses, is the ability to self manage your learning experience. These courses are not for everyone, but they have definitely had a positive impact on my life.

Online Courses: The online courses are user friendly, the online library resources are excellent. The difference between online and the traditional classroom experience is that online courses don't interfere as much as traditional classroom when it comes to family time and work schedule.

Academic Flexibility: I study when my schedule allows for it. The whole course is laid out ahead of time so that the student could potentially plan to go ahead of the class in anticipation of schedule conflicts. The one limiter is that the student still needs to log into the classroom online and respond to classmates written statements and opinions on the topic of the week.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The cost was average. The financial aid assistance program to use to determine various ways to improve the way to pay for school is helpful. Unfortunately, it does not automatically qualify you for grant money!

Overall Experience: I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know other graduate students who have the same or similar interests that I have. The courses are very interesting. The discussions excellent. The classroom diversity superb. This is what I had hoped online learning would be!

Academic Experience: Again, I love that everyone in my class is experienced in their profession and brings that experience to add to everyone's learning. Some instructors are more interactive with the students than others, however, each is very well qualified for the class they teach and offer insight to further our learning with real world applications.

Campus Resources: Online learning resources include library, librarian help, career center with help for resume building, career choices, job search instruction, cover letter writing, interview preparation. The writing center offers multiple learning tools also. They vary from archived presentations that can be viewed 24/7 to Live presentations with interactive learning, to power points, to templates, resource recommendations for AP formatting and more.

Campus Resources: I have had no problems with online access to the school's website.

Online Courses: Online courses allow for students to learn at their own pace while still imbedding deadlines for a constant flow and assurance of completion of the course on time. It is not necessarily harder than what I would expect classrooms to be like. I like that everyone in my classes is already an experienced professional in the field and can contribute to class learning by sharing their own experiences during our class discussions.

Student Body: Walden University online classroom contains students from Central America and the US, in my experience. The adult learning environment where we are constantly posting and responding to each other's comments makes for a wonderfully interactive environment where we all learn a lot from each other.

Academic Flexibility: These classes are extremely flexible because the teachers give you a week to complete only a discussion, a response and then depending on the class a 1-2 page essay on a topic discussed that week.

College Junior

Campus Resources: The only resource of the campus that I have used in the online library database which is excellent.

Campus Resources: Technology is a must with an online school and since beginning classes in July 2013 I have not once had any issues with the technology that the school uses.
