Career Services: I have not utilized the career center at this time, but I know it is there. Our alumni includes President Bill Clinton, and I have always admired him.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The registration process is simple. The workload is what I would expect in a traditional school environment. The professors try to keep the classes interesting and are very personable.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is higher than going to a traditional bricks and mortar school, but I am willing to pay for the luxury of all online classes. The financial aid team is excellent.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I am an online student, so the campus network really does not apply to me.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The Walden Library is a great resource for research for academic papers, and our class references are always available, I don't have to worry if someone has "checked it out".

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The different minors that you can go into with psychology are amazing. I chose criminal justice, and many of the course requirements are the same classes for both subjects.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: My professors are excellent! They are there if you have any questions or to provide resources outside the class curriculum if you need help understanding something.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: There are different mixes of religious, ethnical, and economic people in my classes. Some are single moms starting over, some are older adults just looking to further their education, and some, like me, are way past high school and looking for a change in career.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: I enjoy interacting with people from all over the place. We have international students, local students, and a wide variety of people from all ages and stages of life.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office at Walden stays on top of everything. At least that has been my experience. I do not have anything bad to report. Eveything is straightforward and if you don't understand something, they are more than willing to help you.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Although it is an online environment, there are different forums and groups that students can join.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: Peer-to-peer interaction, which is a part of the online learning environment, helps to see different points of view on the same topic. Weekly discussions are really good because it is almost like brainstorming. It is a very creative learning environment and worth the cost. The workload is not heavy and the group projects are good for real world team building exercises.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The curriculum is geared towards being able to apply what is learned in the online environment to everyday/real life situations. The virtual environment is easy to use and the workload is not difficult. The schedule of what is due and when is readily available before classes beging. If there is a change the instructors make sure that we are aware of those changes in plety of time to make schedule adjustments. There has never been any last minute changes to assignments by instructors and the have all been very knowledgeable in their fields of study and instruction. I am studying business administration, which has a wide variety of fields that one can enter. Walden now offers a doctor in the field of business administration and I plan on pursuing that degree as well.
