1 College Junior

Parking: I don't know much about the situation personally, but everyone is always complaining how tickets are given out for pretty much anything.

3 College Junior

Parking: Parking's pretty expensive, but you'll usually be able to find a spot (Freshman have to park off campus, not worth it for them). Park where you're supposed to though or else risk the 99% chance that you'll get ticketed

3 Recent Alumnus

Parking: I occasionally had to put my way over to Q lot after failing to find a spot in Collins, but I survived. The cost is absolutely ridiculous.

4 College Freshman

Parking: A little pricey, but there are practically unlimited spots. Wake is very strict, however.

1 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking police basically live in the bushes... watch out

Parking is a sore issue with most Wake Forest students. The problem is that there are limited spots, too many cars, and overzealous parking officers, which is like the perfect storm of parking. Also, any attempts to argue your tickets will be lost, so you get used to adding these extra fees to your budget. The best you can usually do is find a decent spot and just leave your car there as long as you can (before you have to use it or get a ticket). However, by far, the freshmen get the worst deal, as they have to park in the Student Drive lot across from Polo Road.

However, Wake Forest has made other options available, including a shuttle that goes downtown Thursday through Saturday. There are also shuttle options to take you to and from the most isolated parking lots. And although it is common sense, students should be careful and go with a friend to remote parking lots at night, as cars are occasionally broken into.
