2 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Overpriced considering the institution's failure to fulfill its advertising.

I would break it down like this. The professor's are generally worth the money on a class to class basis, but all other aspects of attending VWCC are definitely not.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: when applying for financial aid (FAFSA) be sure to check for deadlines and answer all questions truthfully.

2 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: i didnt receive my financial aid until fall 2013 started

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: You can't beat the deal you are getting. The level of education and resources is phenomenal for the price.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am here through the Dislocated Workers Program. The process to enroll and attain my books was fairly smooth considering it was last minute.

Although Virginia Western Community College's tuition is extremely low, financial aid is still fairly easy to receive. There are many different methods of obtaining aid through the state of Virginia.

Due to the fact that getting financial aid can be complicated and confusing, Virginia Western Community College’s Office of Financial Aid is an excellent tool to help students understand the process of receiving aid. They will explain to students their eligibility, as well as the amount possible for students to receive or borrow. For those not eligible for financial aid, there is a list of scholarship opportunities on the Virginia Western Community College website.
