3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The freshman dorms are not as new as those that upper classman have. We sometimes have bug problems, water leakage, and sometimes they arent cleaned very well by the staff. Housing does allow you to live near your friends or chose places are are more quiet and secluded. Sometimes its a hassle to live on campus because there are reles and tigher regulations than on a normal campus because we are a private institution. Cost is also a problem. Many students feel that we pay more for little to nothing more special than any other school. Honestly, I know of several campuses that have better housing choices for less than what we pay.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: There are different options available which is nice.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: It is expensive but the dorms are larger than other campus dorms. Quality is average.

College Junior

Campus Housing: The rating does not apply to me because I chose to commute to college, but I hear horror stories from my friends who do live on campus. Parties in the dorms get reckless and walls, lights, and doors are often broken. Our school has a terrible infestation of cockroaches and some insect we all named "the Wesleyan bug" because it's so bizarre and scary and we don't have any idea what it actually is. Everything on campus is close together which is nice, however food quality is terrible. In all honesty I don't believe our school is worth the near $40,000 dollars we have to pay per year.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living on campus is the only way to get the full effect of being at college and my first year experience was wonderful. I enjoyed every bit of the campus life. From the small classroom settings to hanging out with my new friends on campus during the weekends. I wouldn't trade being at Virginia Wesleyan for the world.
