College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Didn't Experience Much – For most of the year I ate the food provided to me from the school, you have to pay room and board so why not eat the food that they serve and save the money?

Off-Campus Dining: Off Campus Restaurants – The restaurants in Lexington are pretty much divided along the lines of the two schools in the town, W&L and VMI. The fancy, nice, expensive stuff caters pretty much only to W&L, while everything else is for the cadets and townies. Not much in the way of variety, especially on an average cadets budget.

Off-Campus Dining: Few Options – Lexington dining is good. Not many options however but for the size of the town, the food choices are respectable.

Off-Campus Dining: Better Than Crozet – As a fourth-classman, dining options are limited on campus, so really you're just happy to be eating somewhere other than the dining hall (Crozet). Lexington dining options are pretty average unless you're deprived of good food like a VMI rat.
