Academic Experience: The registration process was great ! My advisor helped and worked with me to get me in school , I was very pleased with her effort and enthusiasm.

Tuition & Financial Aid: tuition:over $19,000 , I think its worth it because we receive all the essentials we need for the whole year . I approved for the Pell grant which is 5,000 , so I've been searching for grants and scholarships to help me pay for the rest.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: They have met with me on Saturday morning and late evening around 7:30 until we were finished with my needs I always get call back with in 24 hrs or less

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: They take time to talk to your not just a number standing in line

Academic Flexibility: I will say some classes are not offered on ground which can make you apprehensive to take that class. You can opt to wait to take that class until it might be. Some classes are offered once a year so if you can hold off in taking it if you would rather be in a classroom then do it.

Online Courses: Online classes can seem a bit overwhelming at first, especially if you have not had one before. At Virginia College there is an onground campus online coordinator, this person is always there to help with any questions you may have. They are almost like a gps system for navigating your way through. If you find you need a tutor then this person can help you find someone, even someone to fit your schedule.

Academic Experience: My experience at Virginia College has been amazing. I first started in the diploma program for Medical Billing and Coding. Soon after I finished that program I decided I was not done, I wanted more. I went back and am currently finishing my Associates Degree in Health Care Reimbursement. My PA, and all of my instructors were there every step of the way with love and support.

Academic Experience: The instructors at Virginia college are for the most part above par. The make learning not just a chore with repetition but they add real world knowledge and experience to the classroom. The Nurses who teach tell you what working in the E.D. really is like. The Coders tell you that not everyone passes their certification the first time. The work load may seem at times too much but overall if you do a little at a time and everyday then it really is manageable.

Overall Experience: I am almost done with my associates degree and have to say I have loved it here. I know there were times when things got hard, but they were always there to lend a helping hand. The one-on-one experience here is by far the best out of the 3 schools I have attend in the past.

Facilities: The building is nice and clean. The rooms are kept in working order.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid is there to help you, there are scholarship signup events. The tuition is kind of high, but it is worth the teachers and the one-on-one assistance all of the faculty gives.

Career Services: i have not graduated yet though from reports there is always a job opening that a student has applied at and was successful.

Academic Experience: the professors are very responding if you ask them something and they have the time it gets done. there are a lot of clubs that can be joined regardless of your major there is always a club needing help from others. everyone plays a major part in club activity. as for registration its not that difficult.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: the classes them selves are amazing. all hands on not much book learning you actually have to use your head to get through the assignments. the workload is average 2 hours of work per every hour of class. and everything else is about equal.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Mostly' my school consists of working class people with jobs or families. they juggle many different rolls from being parents to being students they fulfill the requirement that's set forth for them and they get there work done while having a bit of fun. though on occasion you do run into one that thinks that everyone should listen to them only and tempers get stirred but in the end it usually gets dealt with.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: the only thing that we have on campus is a library but its a good library that houses a lot of books that are not only for the subjects that we are studying but off topic subjects as well for anyone willing to use the time they have sparingly to learn a few extra things.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: the network is not bad it is used in a lot of areas and even with hundreds of students on it it still performs well. though i rated it a C+ because the wifi is terrible even though there are public access areas they still don't work as intended.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: the campus its self is not as unique as the people that go there. i have meet great people who i can call friends that have helped me out in areas where i was not that great in. also the major i'm in is hands on so you get great experience and can even stay after school to practice its open to all the students

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: the tuition is like that for any bachelors degree so i cant complain but there are a few small fees that i didn't expect but was taken care of not to long after.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: my experience at Virginia college so far has been a great place to be its not like the typical college but it suites me the classes are small and the teachers friendly.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The classes are quite flexible and so are some of the teachers though not all of them have the time. as for the faculty they are there until the college closes for the night and are open even on the weekends except for Saturdays and Sundays

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I was a little uneasy at first taking online classes but after a while i realized that its not the difficult and the teachers are very nice if you miss a few assignments they will do all they can to let you make it up.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I really enjoy the Medical Assisting program all of the classes that I am taking are really just focused on that field and have been really helpful. They are classes and knowledge that I will be needing and using in my workplace. The workload is fine with me. There is a Club Med in which students in the medical field are able to join and they get to do hands-on activities and help the community.
