Student Body: The best student body I have ever had the pleasure of being a member in. I love all my classmates. We study hard and play hard. We encourage each other and challenge one another to do our very best. When one of us has a down day, the rest of us are ready to rally together and help each other through it.

Career Services: I have not gone to the career center yet.

Campus Resources: If ever the computers don't work, Tech services are almost instantly on the job to fix it.

Campus Resources: The resources on campus are great. Everyone works together to keep the college neat and tidy. We have recycling bins scattered throughout the campus to help reduce our waste output and encourage green lifestyles.

Facilities: The student body at Villa Maria is amazing. We are not caught up in silly segregations based on popularity or hobbies. Everyone gets along for the most part and we are like a giant family. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm.

Overall Experience: I'm so happy at Villa. It was the best choice in my life to come here. Here at Villa I am a valued member of the curriculum and my networking has bloomed not only with local artists but with real business world connections as well. For example I have met Ken Maruyama from Sony. Villa Maria has given me priceless amounts of experience and connections I would otherwise have never gotten. I am extremely grateful to all the staff, from the head of the college to the lunchroom service. The cafe may not be a huge buffet line with 30 choices everyday but the few choices they do serve are amazingly delicious and affordable. The staff all over the college are amazingly understanding and easy to work with. They are down to Earth, just plain cool individuals. The security guards are fantastic. If I ever lose something they are there to help me out. If it's really late at night when I get out of the lab, they walk me out to my car. I've never felt safer at any college before.

Academic Flexibility: I have been to two other colleges before coming to Villa Maria. I am so happy to have found Villa. It is the best school I have ever attended and I feel like it is where I have always belonged. The teachers are fantastic, the staff overall is phenomenal. I love talking to the Sisters and feel very comfortable and at home at Villa. My adviser pushes me to do my best and helps me come up with challenging takes on assignments that might otherwise be below my experience level because of my transfer status. I feel that I am truly growing here and that this is the school that will take me into my career with a priceless educational foundation.

Online Courses: I have not taken any online courses at Villa Maria as of yet.

Academic Experience: The equipment they supply for graphics majors is excellent, and I feel like I am receiving valuable skills from people who know the profession very well. Workload is fair considering projects and such.

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had much issue or problems with faculty

Tuition & Financial Aid: For a private college, $16,000 yearly tuition isn't too bad. Overall after fees and such, my yearly cost was closer to $22k, but I didn't have to pay for anything but some supplies out of pocket thanks to scholarships and aid. When I was struggling with making ends meet, the Financial Aid office here gave me a $4,000 bump for academic excellence to help me cover my entire cost and still have money left over for books & supplies.

Online Courses: Haven't taken any online courses (don't think they are available)

Student Body: Some people are kind of cliquey, and the different majors sort of stick together, but overall people are very friendly. I've had difficulty making deep connections or friends who I really hang out with outside of school, but I hang out with a bunch of people in between classes

College Freshman

Career Services: I'm not really sure about the career-related services. I do know there are a couple opportunities for internships, but that's about it.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: The size. It's super small with only about 500 students, so you don't have far to get to class and you get to know a little bit of everyone. This is a good thing for some people and a bad thing for others.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I prefer not to use computer labs because they are kind of dark and creepy, but a lot of people do use them. There's one for Macs and one for PCs. The couple of times I used the PC one it was quite slow to log on and print something. I prefer to use the computers in the library or my own laptop. Wireless network speed & reliability is quite good. You don't really need a personal computer but I like having mine.

Campus Resources: We're a very small campus so you get used to not having to go very far to do anything, so I don't really know anyone who goes to the student center to use the gym or pool, but this is only my first year and that might change when the weather gets warmer. Activites are pretty fun, the staff always make a point to have something going on every week. Clubs are weak, I applied to a few in the beginning of the fall semester and didn't hear anything back until almost December. Overall the small campus is nice and there are a few little niches to hang out in if you don't like the craze of the dining hall. And even though it's a Catholic school the people are not very conservative or obnoxiously devout.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The bookstore workers are extremely helpful from the beginning of the semester straight thru the end. You also can call any department personnel you may need assistance with and they are always very helpful.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: It is up to the individual to participate. No one is going to twist your arm to make friends but it is definetly a great atmosphere to acquire new friends. I have made more friends in college than high school due to the feeling of fitting in.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I believe I chose the right college for me. I feel comfortable with the advisors and faculty. No one makes you feel that you are not good enough. Instead they are always pushing you to do your best and succeed. I definetly made the right choice.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The flexibilty and convenience is very appropiate. My scheduling is done to fit my lifestyle and personality.
