5 College Junior

Online Courses: I took a typing class, got an A

College Junior

Career Services: I don't have any information on this aspect yet.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are many resources available, Math Lab and Writing Center to name a couple.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: There's a huge lake in the middle of the school which makes it take forever to get from one side of campus to another. It's nice to look at though. The buildings are much newer than most.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I've never taken an online class. It was hybrid, which is half online, half on campus.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I really enjoy getting to interact with the professors and being able to learn in a friendly environment. Oh, and the campus library...best place ever, quiet with books.

3 College Senior

Facilities: We're one of the colleges able to participate in JPL's CURE program.

College Senior

Career Services: There is no career center on campus.

5 College Senior

Student Body: The Student Body isn't too large but it's diversified enough that you should have no problem with meeting new and interesting people with varied beliefs.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Some classes are available in one semester and then it doesn't seem to be available anymore making it difficult to skip it one semester and take it during the next semester. The professors do seem to be extremely flexible with their class schedules as many will point out that the lesson plan isn't concrete.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: You need to be able to remember the upcoming due dates on your own as the professors won't remind as they do in an actual classroom and sometimes it can be a little difficult if you want to have a face-to-face discussion with the professor from an online class.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: There's no degrees available for physics majors beyond the Associates of Science in Math and Science.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors know their stuff, there are opportunities to take independent study classes to study subjects that aren't part of the regular curriculum, students are able to present at the Honors Transfer Council Conference each Spring through the English department.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the long lines.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: You can do good in online courses just do not get behind in them.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: They have a wide range of classes for weekends and night classes as well if you have a busy schedule

3 College Junior

Career Services: They help you transfer and have counselors to help you.

4 College Junior

Facilities: We have a pond/lake in the middle of our campus. It's a nice thing to look at early in the morning and you can see the ducks and sometimes turtles sitting on the rocks.

2 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I feel that the academics at victor valley college are not that well. The staff that are employed at vvc rarely ever hold a standard to the students. If I were to compare high school to attending vvc I'd say high school was harder. I feel as if the teachers could care less if we excel in our classes. They don't make enough of an effort to captivate the young minds of today's society.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: I believe the facilities at victor valley college are not the best or the worst. They are okay as stated in my rating, one area I do feel vvc excels at is the advanced technology center or atc as most students know it as. It's very spacious and a very quiet it's the perfect place to get some homework done or even to get away from the hectic lifestyle of a college student.
