3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Connection goes down too often

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The student lounge makes for a great place to chill in between classes.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I'm not to the point to be able to review this yet.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It really depends on the instructor but I feel I am learning an adequate amount.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: We have an awesome free tutoring program. You should never fail a class

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: There are more adults then students right out of high school attending my school.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I personally think there should be some type of discount for paying out of pocket for tuition.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online courses are great as long as the instructors are staying on top of posting grades and feedback.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Nothing really unique that I know of.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Great use them all the time.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The library is good; you can print as much as you want. Lots of computer labs ready for use. he internet has only gone down completely once and that was for a night in the library. Around the dorms the internet is very wishy-washy though. Inside some rooms there is hardly to no signal. But there is WIFI all around campus. It works well most times.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: It is very good. All anyone has to do is let the instructor know of any problems that they may be having and they will help you right along.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is fine, but the room and board fee is ridiculous considering the conditions we have to live in. These rooms are not up to par and need serious repairs; I think I am paying too much for pretty much a dirty rundown motel. Not worth it. The financial aid office is very helpful and takes care of any questions I may have.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Well there are a lot of country people here. I mostly am around the athletes though because I am an athlete myself. For the most part there are many people who grew up here beside the people that play sports. A lot of white/black country people mostly.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I haven't really started the courses that will specifically go to my major. I am a freshman so I am just doing prerequisites right now.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The registration process wasn't too difficult my work load is manageable and I have a full 17 hour schedule, they have study options and placing to get lots of help in the library.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Lots of comfy spots to work on homework or read a book. The only place you can get something to eat is a tiny Quiznos located in inside the building, but the wait is so long, its not even worth it. Your best bet is one of the surrounding restaurants or the vending machines.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love attending Vernon. I love the classes and the teachers there. The student body is pretty small, so everyone kind of knows each other.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The classes here are great, wonderful teachers. The FAFSA office here is not nearly as wonderful. They were basically no help when I was trying to figure out how to pay for my classes after and why I was being denied any financial aid.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I did not really enjoy the Pearson online programs that this school has chosen to go with. Not the easiest interface for the student, a lot of beating around the bush just to put an answer in or to sign up.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: There are not a TON of night classes. The latest classes I have seen are around 6 or so. So, I have had to take classes in the early morning and go to work at night.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not really heard of any post-grad services being held at Vernon. I have heard of a lot of job opportunities for the surrounding town.
