Campus Dining: Great deals for the prices. Dining halls can be a little cramped and hard to find seating, but they are generally good. Menu gets really old after a while and food can be pretty gross, but it's not that big a deal and it's survivable. Delivery places are great and the small shops and stores around campus are perfect for when you just don't want the food anymore.

Campus Dining: Good food and variety, but the hours of operation are not convenient for students. Also the division of the day into meal periods often restricts students from taking advantage of the meal plan.

Campus Dining: The food options are getting much better thanks to the New Rand dining hall, but there aren't many options around campus. Rand is pretty much the central go-to place for food

Campus Dining: The food here is extremely good, and there are many options on campus, so that you can diversify your eating habits.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Better than what most of my friends eat at their schools. It's not terribly diverse, but there's always something good available.

Other than dinner at Rand, students are very positive about the quality of the food. Fortunately, there are so many other choices on most days that it is hard not to find something you like. But, on-campus weekend dining options are extremely limited.

Vanderbilt has recently overhauled its meal plan system, which gives students a great deal more flexibility in their food options. However, despite the high quality and selection of what is available, the prices are ridiculously inflated, and there isn’t a grocery store within walking distance—the cost of living is very high within the “Vanderbubble.”
