3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The town comes to life when school starts in the fall. There are plenty of things to do on and off campus. Every Thursday night there is swing dancing on campus and every Friday night there is dancing at the Cowboy. The shopping isn't terrible, Laramie has nice shops downtown and there are malls 45 minutes to an hour away.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Average school and average town, nothing too exciting

3 Recent Alumnus

Local Atmosphere: Laramie is very small without much to do. There are outdoorsy things to do when it's warm, but from October to April, the weather kind of sucks.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: It is a good environment for students. But, coming from a hometown with a lot to do there is not much for me.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: It's a very small town. It has a small town vibe and amenities. Nightlife, shopping and attraction are usually out of the city anywhere from 45 mins - 2 hours away. Transportation around the city and campus is getting better but is still very limited. Although it's a small city it is growing and becoming more college friendly
