3 College Senior

Majors: The requirements constantly change; which can be frustrating. My only complaint would be that students should be able to find out requirements easily.

3 College Senior

Majors: I like my program, except for the constant changes. While the changes are for improvement, I feel that sometimes students should be grandfathered into things. For my particular program, because of so many changes, I have had to stay another year in school. Instead of graduating in 4 years (like I was told I would), I will graduate my 5th year.

Athletics: Students are very athletic oriented. Our facilities are wonderful and we have lots of school spirit.

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: I've never noticed any overly strict practices on campus. There are rules, people follow them, and if they don't they are reprimanded.

Academics: The college of education program at UW-Whitewater is very thorough. It is constantly improving it's courses and staff. It is challenging, which is needed to produce well qualified teachers.

3 College Senior

Academics: Professors are good. The registration process can be slightly confusing but once enrolled, the classes and opportunities are fantastic.

3 College Senior

Nightlife: There are many bars to go to. Lots of variety.

4 College Senior

Diversity: UW-Whitewater has a great amount of diversity. We have many international students and student from the U.S. that are of various ethnicities.

Campus Housing: My dorm was extremely "clique-y". It was difficult to live there.

Guys & Girls: I guess people are kind of good looking and a lot of the campus is really active and works out a lot.

3 College Senior

Diversity: I attend a predominately white school so diversity is of course a hard thing to find.

Health & Safety: I feel pretty safe on campus. I'm just a paranoid person though so I'm always aware and ready for something to happen.

Majors: I did 2 internships while I was at Whitewater. I did the DIsney College Program which was incredible and I highly recommend it to anyone who might be interested. It was a paid internship where i lived in Florida for 5 months. My other internship was not paid but part of my graduation requirements

Campus Housing: I loved living in the dorms. I lived in Wells West my freshman year and Benson my sophomore year. I much preferred the Wells towers becuase they were much more fun and there were more people.

Transportation: The only type of transportation on campus is the bus that drives from UWW to Madison on Fridays.

Weather: The weather here is rather nice. There are some nice hikeing trails on campus. The buildings aren't spread too far apart so if it's raining it's wasy to stay dry.

Computers: THere are numerous computer labs on campus. Be sure you check what kind of lab it is though. Some labs will only let you print for free if you are from a certain major.

Guys & Girls: It's pretty average. The school is in Wisconsin so when it's cold you dress warmly and when it's hot, you dress appropriately.

Local Atmosphere: Some companies around whitewater will sponsor events and festivals, but they are few and far between

Scholarships: Financial aid in itself is just a pain. Whitewater expects you to just know exactly what forms need to be filled out and when the deadlines are for them. It's very frusterating.

Nightlife: There is always something going on. The bars are the busiest on Thursday nights. However, there is usually some sort of campus sponsored event going on. One of my favorites was capture the flag.

Athletics: We are a D3 school with some of the best athletes in the country! Last year we won 6 championships including Baseball, Basketball, and Football!
