4 College Freshman

Academics: I have loved almost every single one of my professors so far and I truly feel as though I'm getting a quality education.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I've never had an internship because I am only a freshman.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I absolutely love where I go to school and if I had to do it again, I would choose UWO in a heartbeat.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The university in the heart of Oshkosh and is surrounded by various stores, a movie theatre, and places to eat.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I love going to basketball and baseball/softball games. But when I go, I notice that it's mostly athletes who attend.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: Everyone on campus is very expecting of others and nobody is judged based on their beliefs.

2 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Oshkosh is known as SLOSHkosh. I think that says it all.

5 College Freshman

Computers: We have computer labs in every dorm and in nearly every single building. Also, printing is free.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Students find ways to cheat the system and it's unfair for students like me who don't. This coming year I got stuck in a dorm I didn't want to be in.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love living on campus, I couldn't imagine living off campus. When you live on campus, you have so many opportunities to meet new people and get involved.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: We have buses that take us directly to the mall in Appleton.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: I mean, I met my boyfriend on Odyssey day and we ended up bumping into each other on move in day. We then ran into each other the next day at an outdoor movie....it's fate right?

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I was asked to join Greek Life but I declined because I plan on being involved in Habitat for Humanity, being a tutor for Biology, intermural sports, and going to the REC.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have had a great experience here at Oshkosh! Sure things aren't perfect, but it's definitely been worth it. I love all the people here and just the campus in general. The campus is beautiful, and it's easy to get around to your classes without any hassle. I would definitely recommend The University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh to upcoming freshmen!

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I am not into Greek Life. I was never really interested in sororities. My roommate freshman year was in a sorority and she loved it though! I have never had a problem with anyone in sororities or fraternities so I am neutral about it.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Some of the buildings are beautiful on campus, but then there are a few that are very old. Some dorms are nicer than others too.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: I love how diverse the student body is here! I think it makes everyone feel comfortable in their own skin. It's an easy way to make friends and everyone is social and friendly.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The campus strictness is average. It is like any other school probably is with the underage drinking and or drug use.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are different restaurant options and I think their costs are average. They aren't too expensive.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I would say the financial aid process is average. Nobody wants to sit there and fill it out but we all have to.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I love the size of the campus. It is easy to get around and not to small and not too big. Downtown Oshkosh is really nice too! There are many little shops to go to over the weekend and nice parks if you just want to get away.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: I definitely recommend having your own personal laptop. There are computer labs available, but it is so much easier being able to work wherever you want instead of going to a computer lab. Other than that, the computer labs and everything is great. Printing is very accessible, and the wi fi is very fast.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: I definitely think there are a lot of organizations here at Oshkosh that some other universities may not have that include: different race groups, sexual orientation, and just other preferences about certain things. Also what I noticed is that at Oshkosh, you can start any group you want as long as you have five people to join.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: A good number of students definitely go out at night and party here at Oshkosh.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I had to apply to be in the College of Education and Human Services this year and it was one of the most stressful things ever! I had to pass all of the Praxis 1 exams in order to be able to apply. Luckily, I passed it the week of when the application were due and a few months later here I am accepted into the COEHS.
