Transportation: People very rarely use these kinds of transportation. someone might use a shuttle but if it is raining and they are parked across campus or a taxi after a late night at the bar. Otherwise, people use their own transportation.

2 College Junior

Computers: It is very rare that they are available. The wireless network almost never works properly.

Campus Housing: I lived in one of the last traditional dorms but I have heard that the new student housing is great.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: I believe it's pretty average compared to most schools.

Academics: I am in the Psychology program and I love it! This is my first semester in the program, but I have already learned so much and had many opportunities to further my knowledge and experiences. My program has helped me find numerous internship and volunteer opportunities that will help me find my ideal job.

4 College Junior

Majors: I am happy with my program and do not regret changing at all. My career goal is to become a counselor and I feel confident that this program will help me tremendously reach my goals.

5 College Junior

Majors: I am in the Psychology program and I love it! This is my first semester in the program, but I have already learned so much and had many opportunities to further my knowledge and experiences. My program has helped me find numerous internship and volunteer opportunities that will help me find my ideal job. The assignments are practical and the faculty have a passion for what they are teaching and about helping you become successful in your goals.

4 College Junior

Athletics: The Athletics are fine at my school.

Off-Campus Dining: I love the off-campus dining options!

Greek Life: Because of how big Greek life has become at UWG, there is a separateness on campus. There is much segregation between not only a lot of African Americans but also Greeks and non-Greeks. I joined a sorority my Freshman year but could not afford it after that year. Once I had to quit they completely cut me off. I can't even really say I'm friends with any of the people I met through Greek life. That is sad to me.

3 College Student

Campus Dining: 2 dining halls. like 7 places to eat like restaurants and drink shops.

2 College Student

Majors: I have been told that out of the 95 students in the program I am trying to enter.. only 4 were offered an interview. Know what you want to do before you get to college. Also make sure that you have someone who is there to help you figure out class situations, financial aid and everything else you may need assistance with It is NOT easy doing it alone.

College Student

Majors: I have not had an internship yet.

3 College Student

Transportation: Commuters have to pay the transportation fee even though we drive to our classes then walk to the buildings. Sometimes the bus takes too long to get around campus so sometimes it is just better to walk to class.

3 College Student

Scholarships: It is not bad, but the process of verification they say is random yet some how every year I get chosen & during the summer I have to make a trip to campus to bring these documents that not everyone has to bring. I find it hard to believe only 1 % of students have to bring this form in and I have gotten chosen every year!

2 College Student

Weather: It takes there to be such thick sheets of ice for school to cancel but by then students are already stuck near campus. Sometimes with no where to go.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I was sick once and went to the campus health center and everyone was very nice and helpful

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: the cops are out every night so if you are under 21 and caught drinking there are consequences. but If you are of legal age the bars are fun.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: fairly updated and nice for the school

4 College Freshman

Computers: there's a lot of computers available for student use but fill up quickly during midterm and final weeks so its good to have your own just incase the labs are full.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of off campus housing options offered and for all different prices and sizes too. all are within close proximity to campus as well.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: If a student partakes in drug use more than likely they will not pressure others to do drugs as well.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: its a small town and not much to do. a few nice shops. a big mall is only about an hour away and a smaller mall is only about 30 mins away. good restaurants.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I have not done an internship yet with the university.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: Many commute to this university and the drive is very easy and for most only 30 minutes or less. West Georgia has full operating shuttle busses around campus and neighboring shops and apartments to campus.
