Campus Dining: Wish there was more organic options

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: There isnt very much variety and the people working in the food carts arent very pleasant with the students.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The union has a great variety of choices but up at the dining halls it is awful.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: I have Dining Dollars, which is a great way to pay for food. You can put as much money as you want on your uCard, and you get 10% off every purchase. I also go to the Union for lunch, or the downstairs cafe in the Marriott Honors Community, which was very convenient. There's a lot of options to choose from, but I've never seen any food places open late at night. While the food tastes great, especially at the Crimson View, it's not exactly healthy, and I haven't seen any healthy options aside from Jamba Juice.

Campus Dining: Campus dining offers quite a variety of options to pick from as far as food choices go. There isn't a ton of healthy options and it is about as bad price-wise as eating out anywhere else, but overall a pretty good choice.

The cafeterias on campus are located in the residence halls. If you live there, you must have a meal plan, but anyone can buy one if they want. The cafeteria food is OK, with quite a bit of repetition that gets old fast to the students at Utah. The ability to transfer meals with your food plan is a nice option, though, because you don’t have to eat every meal in the dorms.

There are two other options instead of the cafeterias, and they are the food court/restaurant-style eateries. One is located in the Business Building, and the other is known as The Point, located in the Huntsman Cancer Institute (for more information on The Point, see the off-campus restaurants section). The cafeteria at the Union Building is mediocre, but there’s a Chinese restaurant, a sandwich shop, Mexican food, and a Pizza Hut there, as well as options for vegetarians. Lots of people eat there because of its central location. There are also snack bars in the Annex and University Services Building. But if you can, pack a lunch because it's not cheap!
