Campus Security is really intense at TU. Most of the officers are really nice so long as you corporate with them. They are really funny and, some.. not all, will try to make fun of the situation to calm you down. So long as you are behaving, campus officers are the nicest people ever.
Housing absolutely hates Greek life. If you are in a sorority or fraternity,, housing will most likely hate you. Non-Greeks don't normally interact with Greeks unless they were friends before rush. For the most part, the Greek community is pretty separated from the rest of the university community.
The only party scene there is, is for the frats.
The financial aid advisors can be your best friends. If you get to know them and ask them questions they're helpful and communication is great. Especially the incoming freshman advisor Vicki - she's a sweetheart and will do everything in her power to make TU possible for you.
For someone who is planning on moving off campus next year, the housing around campus is fantastic (it just depends on what area of campus you choose to live by). Houses are small but affordable and quaint. Apartments leave a little more to be desired but if you're willing to travel a little ways then the quality of the complexes go up considerably.
