4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Safety is as good as we can make it on a college campus - there's always an emergency phone in sight and campo is always there to help. The only time I feel threatened is when I'm walking down frat row late at night after studying.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel extremely safe on campus. There are always campus security guards driving around campus.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The area around the University of Tulsa is relatively rough. The neighborhoods are slowly improving, as are the retail areas around campus, but it's still not what I'd consider the safest. Luckily, Campus Security is extremely reliable. They may be berated a bit by students for being a little overzealous with parking tickets, but it's a small price to pay for the fact that if you call them they'll be there in two minutes or less every time without fail. They make me feel safe to walk freely around campus, which I do all the time.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus has tons of campo around at all times and we have to blue emergency poles too. The part of town that the campus is in though can be a bit scary. A few thefts involving non students have happened but campo is always around and their number one priority is to make sure we are safe. If I do not feel comfortable on campus I call the campo and they are more than happy to escort me or give me a ride back to my dorm.

Health & Safety: While CamPo (Campus Police) has a solid and visible presence on campus, at times I am a little wary. For example, some paths on campus aren't sufficiently lit. Additionally, there are reports of crime near campus. However, the university and CamPo usually do a pretty good job of notifying students.
