Off-Campus Dining: The restaurants in the tulsa area are superb!!!

Greek Life: I love greek life here at TU. It is the perfect balance. You still have your own house that you can move into but recruitment is not as big of a deal as state schools make it. The greek life is an awesome thing to get involved in here especially if you are coming to school alone. There is a house for everyone and the girls are not snobby and the boys are not rude, everyone is very genuine and its like a family.

Athletics: The coaches do a great job of recruiting. Last year we won the championships in volleyball, basketball, and football!

Local Atmosphere: It takes all of 10 minutes to get to downtown Tulsa and outside of it there is so much to do. We have very popular streets like Brookside and Cherry street with lots of restaurants and shopping!

Diversity: TU accepts lots and lots of international students. We have a lot of people come from China, India, Australia, and more! TU is very diverse and they even have many clubs and organizations that you can join to meet other international students.

Drug Safety: Yes, everyone is going to drink in college and you will have plenty of chances to drink, but if you do not want to no one will force you. Peer pressure is something that you do not have to worry about at TU. If you say not, everyone will respect your decision. I honestly do not hang around people who are involved in drugs and never heard of people doing drugs, but I cannot say that people on campus do not do them. It is very low key and not a huge thing here at TU.

Health & Safety: The campus has tons of campo around at all times and we have to blue emergency poles too. The part of town that the campus is in though can be a bit scary. A few thefts involving non students have happened but campo is always around and their number one priority is to make sure we are safe. If I do not feel comfortable on campus I call the campo and they are more than happy to escort me or give me a ride back to my dorm.

Majors: I love the speech pathology program at TU. The professors are all professionals in their field and we have an on campus clinic so you get hands on work done and observations.

3 College Freshman

Majors: It is really tough to get into the program. A GPA of a 3.7 and clinical hours are required but it is very fun and a rewarding major

Campus Housing: It is awesome to live on campus cause there is always so much going on. Dorms are dorms but it is way better then staying off campus.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: We have shuttles come and go, but it is nice to have a car if you are wanting to go out and do different things on the weekend or go out to eat on the town.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: Psychology at TU is really amazing. The professors are welcoming and helpful. I would not personally recommend that anyone go into Psychology without intending to get some sort of graduate degree, but yes, Psychology at TU is great.

Greek Life: I am not Greek and do not like the idea of Greek life. For the most part though, they are nice and welcoming. But, as it is on any campus, there have been some problems between TU and the fraternities in particular.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: House parties are more popular in general. Bars can be a little strict, I don't even bother trying.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I've met some incredibly helpful and intelligent professors.

Campus Strictness: Honestly, if you're not being extremely stupid or very loud, you shouldn't have problems. TU does get you in trouble if you are caught drinking underage and is strict on drugs because it is very close to two elementary schools.

Athletics: I don't care for collegiate sports myself, so this is a really irrelevant topic to me. The gym is fantastic however.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: No where else in Oklahoma can you get this education.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They aren't the best about financial aid and the business office can be a real pain, but for the most part they are helpful and try and find solutions for you.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Especially a couple miles from campus, there really is anything you'd want around TU. There's a really good variety. Again, its a lot better if you have a car and can leave the immediate campus area.

1 College Sophomore

Transportation: Have a car if you can, find a friend with a car if you don't have one.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Every year they oversell the lots. It gets irritating on game days and on Sunday nights in particular.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: For the most part, the wifi is solid. The computer labs piss me off occasionally. Too many of the computers are broken.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Tulsa is a really great and upcoming city if you know where to look. If you don't have a car or a friend to drive you, Tulsa will be terrible for you. But if you do have transport, you can find some really great things around the University of Tulsa.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is mostly mild. Though, because it is in Oklahoma, there are a lot of random storms and cold fronts that pop in and pop out.
