3 College Freshman

Athletics: the campus arc is the best place on campus ever!!!

1 College Freshman

Parking: no parking it sucks its really bad so don't waste money

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: school is ridiculously expensive and everything costs so much

1 College Freshman

Transportation: it costs like $500 to park on campus and theres never a guarantee of a spot

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: usp sucks but that's why theres upenn and Drexel close by

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: eh it's ok it kinda sucks but at the same time you feel safe

3 College Junior

Greek Life: don't know much about it

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: a lot to do in the city.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: landlord is alright, but the quality of the house is poor.

3 College Junior

Computers: printers are out of paper a lot.

4 College Student

Diversity: There is a great diversity between the students on campus. Since the diversity is so vast, there are multiple groups for students to fit into. You will meet someone everyday with a different ethnic or religious background. There are even students that are open about their sexual orientation. The campus is very accepting of all types of diversity on campus

Athletics: Athletics are not the main focus for the university, they are more focused on academics. Some students do very well athletically, but that is not the case for all students. Since a lot of students are focused on their studies, the fan support and school spirit is lacking for athletic events. More students go out for club sports or intramurals because it requires less of a commitment, but students are still able to remain active.

3 College Student

Scholarships: The financial aid office provides you the most financial aid that they can offer. They provide printouts of different loan sites that students can apply for. They constantly hang scholarship opportunities that they come across for students to access and apply

3 College Student

Computers: There are multiple places students can access computers (library, starbucks, Wilson and the STC which has 3 different rooms). The printing on campus is very convenient. You can print at any of the locations that has computers. The network speed and reliability is okay nothing special, but you are able to get your work done. You do not need to have a personal computer, it is more of a personal preference if you prefer to have one.

College Student

Transportation: There is not any transportation options provided by the university because the campus is so small

3 College Student

Health & Safety: It is a lot better than it use to be in years past. However, being in philadelphia there is always crimes. The school is very good with sending notices to the students via email and text alerts that give the students updates of where to stay clear from and when the police and secured the area. As long as you are careful where you go, the campus is pretty safe and their is public safety patrolling the area on every block.

3 College Student

Drug Safety: Drug visibility is not very noticeable. Alcohol visibility is a little more visible, but not directly on campus. The most drug usage seen on campus are study drugs such as adderall and ritalin.

3 College Student

Nightlife: There are not many parties due to the high expectations the university has of their students. There are weekly specials at all of the local bars that are within walking distance to the university. The closest bar is known as "the track", they have been their for years and is very popular hangout spot for students. Monday nights they have a $14 special from 8-10 for unlimited beer on-tap and wings. University of the Sciences offers transportation with Penntransit which operates from 6pm-3am as long as you have a student ID.

4 College Student

Campus Strictness: The University of the Sciences is very focused on the success of their students academically. They are strict on the quiet hours in the dorms. Places to study are open fairly late and their are multiple study rooms for students to use as well as the library. The university is a dry campus so if there is any drugs or alcohol they take immediate action.

Majors: I am very happy with my program as a DrOT major. The professors are really concerned about the well being of the students and do what they can to help out. I would definitely select University of the Sciences for DrOT all over again. My career goals are to start out working as a Doctor of Occupational Therapy with the elderly or in a hospital setting with people who are depressed. After a few years of experience, I plan on opening my own practice. I do not have much concerns about finding a job because Healthcare is a growing profession and Occupational Therapists, especially males, are in need.

4 College Student

Majors: University of the Sciences offers a direct entry program, as long as you maintain a 2.7 overall GPA and a 3.0 in prerequisite courses. The professors know the course load students are burdened with and are willing to help as long as you approach them. The most important criteria is to get the 3.0 in the prerequisite courses. You must get these GPAs in your first two years as a student. If you have the required GPAs, then you will get into the professional years of the program. Once you are in your professional years, you must maintain a 3.0 in all courses with an OT prefix.

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere really takes a while to get accustomed to. The area immediately surrounding the campus has limited activity and is actually a very dangerous part but a little further into the major part of the city as a lot more to do. However, the sites are really only a one-time attraction.

3 College Student

Greek Life: The Greek atmosphere is really nonexistent on campus. There are no major rushing problems and Non-Greeks and Greeks are not very segregated. The only problem comes from boastful individuals.

3 College Student

Majors: There are almost no challenges to get into the program of my desire. The admission process was very simple.

2 College Student

Majors: The specific program is a great way to directly achieve the highest degree for the career of choice. However, it doesn't give students the freedom to explore other options because of such a tightly packed schedule and mandatory classes that students must take each semester.
