College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I do not know well but a friend of mine told me one time that, indeed, the university is helping her to find availability in off-campus housing.

College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Although I am from San Antonio, I do not live there at this time. I cannot provide any additional details. I can only give ratings for when I lived there (which was over 5 years ago).

Living off campus is not always the best option if you do not have a reliable form of transportation. Although most of the time it is cheaper to find an apartment off campus, it is more convenient (but more expensive) to live on campus because there is no need to get up earlier to beat the traffic to get to class on time. Also, by living off campus, you do not get the full college experience because you miss out on the events held on campus. You will, however, learn important life skills for the real world and become a more independent adult.

Broadway is probably your best bet when looking for an apartment, as it is close to the University and has several options from which to choose. Finding a place on Broadway will be a good pick since most of the apartments are within walking distance of UIW.
