Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of options, but due to construction it's a mess trying to get to a decent place to eat.

Off-Campus Dining: I mean you can't receive everything on your "I Want This" wish-list. Yet the nearby restaurants are known to provide a student discount, that leaves the person pretty satisfied. The more finer establishments have pretty good food. I tend to stay away from buffet's. They are known for cheap, but not good to eat food. The quality, value, and variety around the entire city in unimaginable. Don't just stay in the North/Central parts of San Antonio. You need to discover every area of San Antonio. Every suburb, district, and atmosphere alike. Then you can honestly say for yourself what the city is all about.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: there are a bunch of little restaurants down the street, pretty much walking distance including central market grocery store next door which had a variety of fresh hot and ready food to go or to eat while there.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: You have a lot of Off- Campus dining that are fairly near the school campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Good is good but would prefer a student discount.

Sure, it is great to have food available on campus, but every once in a while you may want to get out of your routine and eat out. Luckily for UIW, it is located on Broadway, where there is a wide variety of dining options, ranging from fast food places like Mc Donald's to more gourmet locations like La Madeleine. Many of these locations are within walking distance of the University. If groceries are what you need, Central Market is right next to UIW, so you don't even need a car to get there.

Of course, dining out is not limited to what's available on Broadway Street. San Antonio is a big city, especially when it comes to restaurants. Whatever it is that you are craving, you will certainly find it in San Antonio. Mexican, Chinese, Italian, barbecue, stir fry, or all-American burgers—you will find these foods and much more in San Antonio. There are also certain restaurants where they let college students take an additional to-go box filled with the same meal they just ate! Dining out every now and then will take you out of your usual routine and allow you the opportunity of leaving the school cafeteria for once!
