The main campus of the University of the District of Columbia is the Van Ness campus, which is located at Connecticut Avenue and Van Ness Street. There is also a new campus for the Community College at 801 N. Capital St. NE. The Community College of the District of Columbia is associated with UDC and has a much smaller campus in terms of number of buildings.

On the Van Ness campus, there are 11 buildings. Right now there are no traditional dorms or student centers on campus, but the University is in the process of developing these.

"Green" Initiatives
The University participates in Recyclemania, a national competition between schools. UDC is also committed to installing several green roofs. The College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Science (CAUSES) is a new school at UDC that offers classes like Sustainable Design.

There are many organizations at UDC. For more information, visit the website of the Division of Student Affairs or call (202) 274-5210. The office for the Undergraduate Student Government Association is located in the same building as the bookstore, and the president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary each get their own offices, as well as contact numbers.
