It’s a wonderful place to be. Very diverse and very inclusive. I think anyone would find themselves very welcome when it comes to attending university there. Their psych program is incredible and could be described as the best. There’s nothing I would change about the university… well, except for maybe the price of parking, but that’s to be expected!
I’ve struggled with some classes and some professors can be a pain, but overall it’s a great school with amazing people. There’s tons of events to find friends and connect with others and lots of shopping and food nearby!
At UTSA I really enjoy the diversity and the culture that came along with being a student in San Antonio. It is primarily a commuter school but if you don't live on/near campus I feel that you can feel left out so it's best to join organizations to help with that. There is a huge difference between the main campus and the downtown campus though, the main campus is more secluded and seems to have more of an impact on students than the downtown. At the downtown campus it's much more open and often people who should not be on campus show up anyways, but thankfully they have more police and security to help with that. They also don't have as many food options at the downtown campus so I would either pack lunch or go somewhere else (I would love a chick fil a here).
