2 College Sophomore

Transportation: Many of us living on the far east side, about 50 minutes away from campus have to rely on going to school the least times as possible because of the far drive.

3 College Student

Transportation: It's not too bad. The only inconvenience of using school shuttles is that they don't always arrive on time and they are always usually packed.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: There are campus shuttles, that are good to take and are recommended.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: you will have to take the bus if you don't have a car

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The campus shuttle takes you all around the campus but doesn't take you inside the campus due to all the construction going on. However, getting from where you parked (even if you had to park off campus or somewhere in downtown) to the actual campus is fairly easy; there are shuttle stops every few yards and shuttles pass by every so often.

Students should talk themselves out of using a bus or cab for transportation. Overall, El Paso is not much of an urban city. It is not common to see taxi drivers transporting students or residents, and very few students take the bus, as it is a slow method of transportation. Most students take their own vehicles. Other students choose to carpool with friends. Some get dropped off and picked up by their friends or family. Students with residency near campus ride bicycles to school and use them to get around campus, as well. It is a popular trend that continues to grow, more than ever in the spring.

Shuttle transportation is available around campus to provide easier and more flexible transportation, without the issue of parking on campus. Shuttles are free and operate certain days and times.
