3 College Junior

Nightlife: I think that El Paso lives a small town life, when really it's a huge there's that.

4 College Senior

Nightlife: A lot of variety in the number of bars and clubs. Great quality and positive impact on students. Gives students a chance to unwind and enjoy themselves without going through the trouble of finding someplace entertaining.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I do not know much about the nightlife at my University because I happen to live on the other side of town about fifty minutes away, however I have been to Cincinati Street once, but mostly I go Downtown with peers. There are not plenty of Bars or clubs in Cincinati street, there are only about ten locations and they are all only twenty-one or over. Those who are eighteen, but not yet twenty-one hang out downtown, which is about ten minutes away from campus. In downtown El Paso you are able to find great cuisine to eat, extravagant hotels, music festivals, grand musical theatres and a variety of clubs and bars available all year round.

4 College Senior

Nightlife: The party venues around the university are very cool because they support local artists and musicians. Almost every week there is live music, which makes it fun.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Great places to have fun and celebrate on the weekends with plenty of taxis available.

If students seem tied down by routine and need some spontaneity, then they should head over to Cincinnati Avenue, located off Mesa Street and within walking distance from the University. Small bars offer unique themes on Cinci Avenue, ranging in correlation with your mood. Up and down Mesa Street, students will also find a few other enjoyable bars, including Black Market, a really popular getaway.

No concerns on prices at these bars—drinks have student-friendly prices. Plus, no entry fee is required for these spots. Generally, $20 will ensure students a safe and fun night. Underagers should head over to 915 Billiards, a bar filled with many pool tables and poker. For a sweet hangout spot with friends of various ages, then this place would be the most convenient. Besides 915 Billiards, underagers can enjoy a visit to So Cal Baja Grill Restaurant or Wingstop. Freshmen and upperclassmen alike can grab something to eat while socializing with friends or a date after class or a game.
