2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I don't live near campus, so I really don't know what goes down, but there's not much stuff to do so it's not the best.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: The dorms are right infront of some bars, which every thursday and friday gets super awesome. Imlove that the international students that live in the dorms are so friendly everyone's super friendly and they really take good care of everyone. People go out and have a good time with friends at some bars. Also some people make dinner in their dorms and invite friends to hang out and talk sometimes they just play video games

3 College Junior

Nightlife: I don't go out to clubs very much, but I have heard downtown there are really nice places to go out.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: I do not live on campus, and don't have much knowledge of the nightlife at school. there are bars and clubs around UTEP though, but i do not attend them.

3 College Senior

Nightlife: UTEP is not the biggest party school since most people live off campus.

If students seem tied down by routine and need some spontaneity, then they should head over to Cincinnati Avenue, located off Mesa Street and within walking distance from the University. Small bars offer unique themes on Cinci Avenue, ranging in correlation with your mood. Up and down Mesa Street, students will also find a few other enjoyable bars, including Black Market, a really popular getaway.

No concerns on prices at these bars—drinks have student-friendly prices. Plus, no entry fee is required for these spots. Generally, $20 will ensure students a safe and fun night. Underagers should head over to 915 Billiards, a bar filled with many pool tables and poker. For a sweet hangout spot with friends of various ages, then this place would be the most convenient. Besides 915 Billiards, underagers can enjoy a visit to So Cal Baja Grill Restaurant or Wingstop. Freshmen and upperclassmen alike can grab something to eat while socializing with friends or a date after class or a game.
